A few hours later I drop on to my bed and lie, staring up at the ceiling. I close my eyes and a memory washes over me.
'Get the fuck away from her,' I yell. I glance over at Valarie. Her face is covered in scratches and her eyes are brimming with tears. 'You are going to regret hurting my best friend,' I warn them. I wrap my arm around her, 'Are you ok?' I ask staring into her eyes as I gently move her so she sits down. I take in the marks on her and anger builds up in me. My body tenses and I turn around my fists by my side ready to fight.
'Awe did we hurt your girlfriend?' the four boys say while fake crying
'No, but you little over cocky boys, punched my best friend to the ground. No one hurts my friend,' I move closer to them.
'Scared little girl, she was easy to hurt and push over,' the ring leader nods and smiles as he talks.
I laugh grimly and run at them. I punch the ring leader in the nose making him fall. He gets up quickly and growls at me through the blood. He hits me hard in the eye and I stumble back only to be shoved and I fall to the ground. The boys surround me and they kick me as hard as I can.
Raven, Val's voice fills my mind. I stand up and kick or punch the boys away from me as I make my way over to her. She's curled up into a ball and the ring leader is touching. Disgust fills me. I grab hold of his throat and yank him backwards as well as aiming a fast punch to his head.
Val uncurls a little and looks up. I look down at her and grab her hand. I pull her up and continue to pull her along with me as we run.
We hide behind a bridge and as I'm looking out making sure the boys aren't after us I hear someone sobbing. I look behind me and see Valarie on the floor in tear.
'Raven, I am so sorry,' she bawls.
'Valarie, don't you dare be sorry.'
'You got really hurt because of me.'
'I would die before I would let anyone hurt you. You are my world and I don't know what I would do without you.'
I jolt awake as my phone rings. I glance at the ID of the caller. It's Tony. Frowning I answer the phone.
'How did you get this number?' I snap.
'Morning to you to. I'm waiting for you at Asgard's airport. Hurry up.' He hangs up before I can reply.
Scowling I quickly get changed and take my already packed bag. I quickly teleport into the Throne room and yell at Thor that I am leaving. He looks at me and quickly throws something at me. I catch it just before it hits my head.
'Throwing shit at me before I leave. Really?' I growl. I throw the thing at the floor and hear it shatter into pieces as I turn my back and walk out of the room. Once back in the hall way I teleport to the airport.
I drop my duffel bag at my feet and glare at the plane. Tony pats my shoulder as he walks past and climbs the stairs into the plane.
'Come on Raven. We don't want to be late.'
I stick my tongue out at him. I look around me before settling down on a comfy chair next to the window. Tony's eyes widen as he suddenly sees me. His mouth moves and I quickly plug in my earphones. I feel the plane starting to move and remember my bag. Snapping my fingers, my bag lands on the floor at my feet. At the same time a stewardess arrives at my side and hands me a glass of whiskey. I take it and slowly drink it as the plane takes off.
'You never answered my question,' I call out to Tony once we are in the air.
He looks up from his phone and over at me. 'I am Tony Stark. It really wasn't that hard to find your phone number.'
'Who else has it?'
'What?'
'Who else has my number?' I snap as I appear in front of him. He swears softly under his breath as he spills his drink over him.
He glares from me to his dirty clothes. 'Great now I have to go and get new clothes,' he groans.
Rolling my eyes I snap my fingers and the liquid comes out of his clothes and disappears into the air. 'Now answer my question.' I sit down opposite him.
'Why should I?'
'Because as you know Thor has promised me that once I have done this I get my freedom and I don't want anyone to know my god damn phone number. Now who the fuck else has my number Anthony?'
'Okay fine. Nick Fury and some of his men have it.'
I cough as alcohol comes out of my mouth. Tony grimaces and moves back in his chair. I wipe my mouth and put down the drink.
'Didn't he die?' I choke out. Tony calls a stewardess over and she takes my cup away. I glare at her retreating back but turn my attention back onto Tony.
'No he didn't die. He is still alive and still keeps watch on what you do. Why else do you think I'm here?'
'Oh,' I frown. Fury sent Tony to keep an eye on me. Great. 'Since when do you do what Fury tells you?'
'Since you are for some reason are being let to be in the same reason as two important people.'
I smirk and lean back in the chair. I look up at him through my lashes. 'Are you seriously that concerned I will try to influence them into something else or hurting them?'
He looks up from his phone again. 'It's not me that's worried. It's Fury that is. Now let's go over what you need to know.'
'Boring. I already did my homework,' I tell him.
'Okay then,' He looks down at the electronic folders splayed out on the desk in front of us. 'I'll ask you some question that America could ask and MARY!' a stewardess from earlier comes over. 'Take a seat next to me. You're going to ask some questions that Australia could ask,' Tony tells her. Mary nods and takes a seat next to Tony and they both face me.
'Fine,' I sigh.
