Day 2

(Y/n) sat next to Kiyoko, taking a much-needed break after a morning full of practice. She kicked her feet lightly, feeling the exhaustion from the day's drills. "Kiyoko?" she called, her voice soft, almost as if she were lost in thought.

Kiyoko looked up from her book, sensing the seriousness in her tone. "Yes?" she replied.

"You know, it's been about a month and a half since I joined Karasuno," (Y/n) said, her gaze focused on her feet as she spoke, her words a bit hesitant. "I've been thinking... I should stop pretending to be a boy."

Kiyoko raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised but understanding. "Are you sure about this, (Y/n)-san?" she asked gently, concerned for her.

(Y/n) nodded slowly, her resolve growing stronger. "Yeah. I think it's time to show them who I really am."

Before Kiyoko could say more, Ukai stepped up beside them, his hand resting lightly on (Y/n)'s shoulder. "Are you sure?" he asked, his voice firm but kind.

(Y/n) looked up at him, smiling confidently. "Yeah, I'm sure. I think it's time I show them the real me."

Ukai grinned, his eyes sparkling with approval. "Then go show them who the real queen is," he said with a smirk.

With a deep breath and a sense of determination, (Y/n) stood up, feeling a sense of liberation as she made her way back to the court.

She entered the gymnasium with a sense of confidence, her usual smirk playing on her lips as she faced the other teams. "I'm back," she said, a glint of mischief in her eyes.

The chatter in the gymnasium stopped almost immediately. She could feel the eyes of everyone on her.

One of the players from another team whispered, "Oi, that boy is here."

She chuckled softly, her voice loud enough for everyone to hear, "Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt your conversation, but..." She paused for effect, smirking as she added, "I'm a girl."

The entire gymnasium fell silent.

Daichi was the first to speak, concern in his eyes. "(Y/n)-san, is this really okay?" he asked, his voice full of worry.

(Y/n) nodded, her innocent smile in place. "Yep, and Coach agreed," she said casually.

The realization hit the other players, and the gym was filled with murmurs. "So you're not a boy, but a girl," someone said, their voice filled with disbelief.

"Yeah," (Y/n) replied, her voice confident and slightly playful. "I'm (L/n) (Y/n), the top 3 volleyball player."

Another round of silence.

"WHAT?!" the entire gym erupted, except for Kuroo and Karasuno, who had already figured it out. The sound of whispers and excited murmurs filled the air, and (Y/n) noticed that some of the other players were now fanboying over her.

"Looks like I've gained more attention," (Y/n) said with a playful smile, enjoying the surprise and admiration from everyone.

"Good job," Daichi said, chuckling. "Now, let's get back to the game."

Just then, the door burst open, and in walked Tanaka's sister, followed by Kageyama and Hinata. "Finally," Ukai said, sounding relieved.

Tanaka and Suga moved to stand next to Yamaguchi, their eyes bright with anticipation. "Let's play!!" they all shouted together, ready for the next match.

After the Game

The match ended with Karasuno winning 25-23, the atmosphere in the gym lively and triumphant.

"UUAYY!" Nishinoya shouted, pumping his fist in the air.

"Uuayy!" (Y/n) echoed, high-fiving him.

She grabbed her water bottle, about to take a drink when, out of nowhere, it was snatched away from her. "Kuroo!!" she exclaimed, her eyes widening in mock outrage.

"Sorry, my water bottle is empty, and I was thirsty," Kuroo said with a grin, taking a long sip.

(Y/n) pouted, crossing her arms. "You could've asked."

Kuroo just smiled mischievously and pinched her cheeks lightly. "Ow, ow, ow!" she whined, trying to push him away, though she couldn't help but laugh.

"So, you finally revealed yourself," Kuroo said, handing her back her water bottle. "I mean, I'm glad you did. It feels a lot better to be yourself, right?"

Both of them laughed, the tension from earlier melting away into the playful banter they always shared.

Just then, Bokuto appeared, his usual loud and energetic self. "Hey, hey, hey! What are you two talking about?" he asked as he approached them.

"Nothing interesting," (Y/n) smiled, her tone teasing.

"Oh right!" Bokuto continued, eyes bright with excitement. "Do you want to practice with us tomorrow after dinner, (Y/n)-chan?" he asked eagerly.

(Y/n) nodded. "Sure, sounds fun."

Kuroo smirked, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Yay, I get to practice with her! But just so you know, Bokuto," Kuroo said with a playful grin, "you're just a top 5 wing spiker, while she's a top 3 player."

Bokuto groaned in mock annoyance. "Tsk, shut up," he said, playfully shoving Kuroo, and the three of them burst into laughter.
