(Y/n) stretched herself with a satisfied yawn. "Finally in Osaka," she said, a soft smile tugging at her lips. Kuroo chuckled and leaned in, gently kissing her forehead. "Taxi's here. Ready to go?"
(Y/n) nodded, and Kuroo opened the door for her, offering her a hand as she stepped inside. He slid in beside her, and the taxi started driving off towards their destination.
At the House
They arrived at the house, and (Y/n) rang the doorbell. The door opened to reveal Usui, who greeted her with a wide grin. "Cutie pie! I missed you!" he exclaimed, pulling her into a tight hug and planting a kiss on her cheek.
"I-I can't breathe!" (Y/n) gasped, squirming a little, and Usui quickly released her.
"Sorry, cutie pie," Usui said, grinning mischievously. His eyes then flickered to Kuroo behind her. "What's the rooster guy doing here?" Usui raised an eyebrow, clearly annoyed.
Kuroo smirked and leaned back, casually cocking an eyebrow. "Can't I visit my girlfriend's family?" he asked, his voice playful and confident.
"No, you can't—"
"Usui, who is it?" (Y/n)'s mother called from behind, her voice warm.
"It's mom!" (Y/n) smiled brightly, rushing forward to hug her mother tightly. "(Y/n) darling, you're here!" Her mother wrapped her arms around her in return, her voice filled with love.
After a moment, (Y/n) pulled back, looking at her mom with a smile. "You've gotten so much taller, and your hair's shoulder length now!"
Her mother smiled back and then looked past (Y/n). "Oya? Your boyfriend?" (Y/n) blushed, feeling a wave of warmth spread across her face as she glanced at Kuroo.
Kuroo smiled widely, bowing respectfully. "Konnichiwa, I'm Kuroo Tetsurou, and I'm Pumpkin's boyfriend."
Her mother's eyes widened in recognition. "Oyaaa, aren't you the neighbor who used to live next door when you were younger?" she said, her voice filled with pleasant surprise.
"Yes, ma'am," Kuroo replied with a polite nod.
"Oh my goodness! Please come inside!" her mother urged, stepping aside to let them in. "You've grown so much, Kuroo."
Inside, (Y/n) and Kuroo set down their luggage and took a seat on the sofa. Her father emerged from the kitchen, smiling warmly. "(Y/n) honey, you're here!" he greeted, walking over and sitting down next to her.
"Hello, Dad," (Y/n) said, her face lighting up as she hugged him. Kuroo bowed again. "Hello, I'm Kuroo Tetsurou, and thank you for letting me stay," he said, his tone polite and respectful.
"So, Kuroo, tell me. How's your family?" (Y/n)'s mother asked, settling down in front of him.
Kuroo sat up straighter, resting his arm around (Y/n)'s shoulders as he spoke. "They're doing well, though they're always busy with work."
"I see," her mother said, smiling warmly. "And you've really grown taller and become more handsome." Her words were soft, making Kuroo chuckle a little.
"Wait, you're Tetsurou? (Y/n)'s childhood friend?" (Y/n)'s father asked, his voice filled with surprise. Kuroo nodded. "It's been a while, Mr. and Ms. (Y/l/n)."
Her father smiled broadly. "It seems you two finally found each other. I still remember when you said you'd find her no matter what."
Her mother cupped her cheek, reminiscing with a bright smile. "(Y/n) was so young then... It was such a heartwarming story."
(Y/n) blushed deeply and looked away, feeling her heart race. "I-I'm not a kid anymore!" she muttered, though her smile betrayed her happiness.
"Well, it was a very touching scene," her father added, sipping his tea.
Usui then walked out from his room and sat next to (Y/n). "What are you guys talking about?" he asked, his eyes narrowing at Kuroo.
Her mother beamed, still caught up in the sweet nostalgia. "We were talking about (Y/n) and Kuroo's childhood. It's such a cute love story."
Usui snickered. "Oh, about the rooster head?"
Kuroo shot him a death glare, narrowing his eyes. "You wanna say that again?"
"Uh... sorry, I didn't see you there," Usui muttered, his face changing slightly in response to Kuroo's icy stare.
"(You two, stop it)," (Y/n) said, her voice carrying a hint of annoyance. She was sitting between them, trying to maintain the peace.
"Yes, ma'am," both of them replied in unison, though the tension between them lingered.
Just as the moment settled, the doorbell rang, causing everyone to pause.
"I'll go open it," (Y/n) said, standing up and making her way to the door. She opened it, surprised to see a large bodyguard standing outside.
"May I help you?" (Y/n) asked, feeling a knot tighten in her stomach.
The bodyguard's expression was serious. "Are you from the (L/n) family?" he asked.
(Y/n) nodded slowly, unsure of what was happening.
"I'm here to take Usui back to the Miyazaki family," the bodyguard said, and at those words, (Y/n)'s heart sank. She froze for a moment, her world seeming to slow down as the reality of the situation hit her.
