"D-did you see that?" one of the Fukurodani players whispered in shock. "That was scary..." Another added, still wide-eyed.
Kuroo gently pulled (Y/n) away from the group of boys who had been eyeing her, a protective instinct kicking in. Just then, Bokuto, ever energetic and loud, waved and called out, "Hey hey, HEY!!"
"Hey, Bokuto!" (Y/n) greeted him, but Kuroo let go of her hand for a brief moment to pull Bokuto in for a friendly hug. (Y/n) smiled slightly, watching them, but then noticed Kiyoko and Yachi cutting watermelon nearby. Deciding to join them, she made her way over.
"If you don't mind, (Y/n)-chan will join us," Kuroo called out, but when he turned around to look for her, he found she was nowhere in sight. "Where is she? She was here just a minute ago..."
"She's small, I can't see her," Kuroo muttered to himself, a bit flustered.
Bokuto laughed hysterically. "If she hears you say that, she'll kill you," he teased.
"I don't think so. She's kind-hearted," Kuroo replied, still scanning the area, unaware of the storm that was brewing nearby.
"I don't think so," Akaashi cut in, his calm voice standing in stark contrast to the chaos around them. He motioned to the direction where (Y/n) was standing.
Kuroo followed Akaashi's gesture, only to be shocked by what he saw. (Y/n) had a stranger's arm in her grip, her eyes flashing with intensity as she defended Yachi.
"Who are you? You're not a student here," (Y/n) demanded, her grip tightening on the man's arm, her voice cold and threatening. Kuroo froze, sensing the dark aura around her for the first time.
"L-let me go!" the stranger pleaded.
"What do you want?" (Y/n) asked, her tone unwavering.
"Please, just let me go and I'll leave!" he begged.
As (Y/n) finally released her grip, the stranger turned to flee. But (Y/n) didn't back down—she quickly called out, "Yachi! Are you okay?"
However, the situation wasn't over yet. A sudden movement from behind startled (Y/n) as she sensed danger approaching.
"YOU THOUGHT I'M A FOOL? NO, BOY, YOU'RE WRONG!"
"(Y/N)-SAN, BEHIND YOU!" Yachi shouted.
Before she could react, a familiar voice cut through the tension.
"Don't think you can go home alive after laying a finger on my girl!"
"Ew, that's cheesy," (Y/n) muttered under her breath, though her heart fluttered slightly.
"Shut up!" Kuroo shot back, now gripping the stranger's left arm, while Tsukki had a firm hold on the other. Both of them glared menacingly at the man, who looked completely terrified.
"(Y/n), are you okay?" Kuroo asked, turning to her, his voice laced with concern.
"I'm fine, don't worry," (Y/n) reassured him with a smile. "Thank you, Kuroo, Tsukki."
Now, all eyes were on the stranger, who was trembling. Kuroo shot him a cold glare. "Now, what should we do with you?" he asked, voice low and threatening.
"Right. What should we do?" Tsukki asked, matching Kuroo's icy glare.
The man, visibly shaking, begged for mercy. "I'm so sorry! Please spare me!"
Kuroo, not one for unnecessary drama, gestured for him to leave. "Go. And don't you dare come back," he warned, his voice cold as ice.
The stranger didn't hesitate, running away as fast as he could, relieved to escape without further harm.
Kuroo pulled (Y/n) toward him, hugging her tightly. "H-Hubby?" (Y/n) asked, surprised by his sudden embrace.
"I'm surprised!" Kuroo grinned, still holding her close. "I've never seen your dark aura before. You used to be so cute and weak, but now... You sure have changed," he teased, pinching her cheeks gently.
( Y/n) smiled warmly at him. "Yeah, I've changed. But that doesn't mean I'm not still me," she said, her voice filled with warmth.
"Let's go back, you lovebirds," Tsukki called out, clearly annoyed by the public display of affection.
"Hai, hai!" (Y/n) replied, laughing.
Later that evening, (Y/n) packed her clothes into her bag, checking everything one last time. "Looks like I'm all packed," she murmured to herself, ready to head back.
As she walked down the corridor, she was suddenly pulled into an empty classroom. "What the—"
"Shhh, it's me," Kuroo whispered, wrapping his arms around her in a tight hug.
"Hubby, I—I can't breathe," she gasped, her voice muffled.
"Oh, sorry," Kuroo laughed, pulling back just enough to give her some space.
"Do you need something?" (Y/n) asked, still trying to catch her breath from the surprise.
"I need you," Kuroo said simply, his voice soft but filled with longing. Before (Y/n) could respond, he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her gently but with all the love he had for her.
( Y/n) slowly closed her eyes, kissing him back with equal affection. When they finally pulled apart, Kuroo pressed his forehead against hers, his smile soft and full of adoration. "I love you," he whispered.
"I love you too," (Y/n) replied, her voice equally filled with warmth.
"See you later tonight," Kuroo said with a grin, giving her one last peck on the forehead.
( Y/n) nodded, smiling back at him. "See you tonight."
As (Y/n) made her way outside, the Karasuno team gathered to say their goodbyes. "Well, see you next time," Kuroo said, his usual playful grin in place.
"Hmm, see you next time," Daichi echoed, giving (Y/n) a friendly nod.
Kuroo mouthed, "See you at night," to (Y/n), and she gave him a small nod, waving as she left. It was hard to believe the week had come to an end, but she couldn't wait to see Kuroo again later that night.
