The air in the room felt thick as the bodyguard's words echoed in (Y/n)'s ears. "I'm here to take Usui back to the Miyazaki family." Her heart dropped, and she turned to Usui in a state of panic.

"W-What?" (Y/n) stammered, her grip tightening on his shirt. Usui's face softened as he placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a small, reassuring smile despite the gravity of the situation.

"We already discussed this yesterday," he said, his tone calm but firm. "Young master, it's time to leave," the bodyguard added, his voice as cold as ever.

"I know, I know, geez," Usui muttered, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

"But Usui!" (Y/n) cried, refusing to let go. She clung to his shirt, desperate not to let him go. "Cutie pie, please listen to me..." Usui's voice softened, his words filled with tenderness. "I'll be gone for a week, and I promise I'll come back."

"N-No, Usui, don't leave me!" Her voice cracked as tears welled up in her eyes. She held on, her body trembling with the effort to hold back the flood of emotions threatening to break free.

Usui sighed, turning to Kuroo, who stood with (Y/n)'s parents behind her. "Rooster head, if anything happens to her... protect her. I'm counting on you."

"Got it," Kuroo said, his voice serious, as he stepped forward.

Usui's eyes softened as he looked back at (Y/n). "Cutie pie, please let go."

"N-No!" She sobbed, her heart shattering as she watched him go. Kuroo reached out, gently prying her hands away from Usui.

"Let him go, Pumpkin," Kuroo whispered softly, trying to calm her. But (Y/n) couldn't stop the tears. "No! Usui, don't leave me!" she screamed, the tears flowing freely now as Usui, with one last sad smile, left with the bodyguard.

"Don't worry. I'll be back," Usui called out, his voice full of regret. But (Y/n) could only watch helplessly as the door closed behind them.

"N-no, Usui!" she cried out, collapsing to her knees.

"Pumpkin..." Kuroo's voice was soft, but full of concern. He moved toward her, wrapping her in his arms from behind. "Trust him. He'll come back," he said gently, turning her to face him and wiping away her tears with his thumb.

"I'm sorry, (Y/n)," her mother's voice broke through the haze of sadness. "I should've told you." Her father stood beside her mother, his expression sympathetic.

"It's fine..." (Y/n) whispered, her voice shaky. "I'm going to my room," she muttered, her heart heavy with the weight of everything.

(Y/n) slammed the door to her old room, collapsing onto the bed as sobs wracked her body. "Why... Usui... why?" she cried, her voice full of pain and confusion. Her body trembled as the floodgates finally opened, and she cried herself to sleep.

Later That Evening

(Y/n) woke up, her eyes puffy and red, her face sore from crying. "Ah, shit... my eyes are burning," she muttered, wiping at her face with the back of her hand. She looked at the clock, noticing the time. '6:55 pm,' it read. Sighing, she rubbed her eyes and stood up, making her way to the kitchen.

Her mother greeted her warmly as she entered, setting food on the table. "Oh, (Y/n) honey, you're awake."

"Yeah..." (Y/n) replied quietly, sitting next to Kuroo, who was sipping his tea.

Kuroo turned to her, his eyes soft with understanding. "Pumpkin, he will come back... believe in him," he said gently, placing his tea cup down and taking her hand in his. "Now smile. Tomorrow, Karasuno is coming over to spend time with us, right?"

(Y/n) nodded slowly, the corner of her lips turning upward despite her lingering sadness. "Yeah, I guess so," she said, managing a small smile.

"Awww, such a boyfriend and husband material!" her mother said, her voice full of affection as she watched them interact. "Tetsurou-kun, I trust you! Please take care of my daughter well," she added, a playful gleam in her eye.

"God, you two should just get married already!" Her mother added suddenly, making (Y/n) blink in surprise. Her father, who had been quietly observing, immediately chimed in, planning the details of their wedding in his mind.

"Wait, what? But... I'm still young!" (Y/n) stammered, blushing deeply.

Kuroo grinned widely, squeezing her hand reassuringly. "Oh, don't worry, Mr. and Ms. (L/n), once your daughter graduates, I'll marry her right away." He flashed a playful smirk at (Y/n) as he spoke, clearly teasing her.

"Ara, ara, I'm counting on you, our son-in-law!" Her mother exclaimed, clearly excited. Her father raised his glass in approval.

"Cheers to our daughter and son-in-law!" he said enthusiastically.

"Kampai!" everyone cheered, lifting their glasses.

"Kampai!" (Y/n) echoed softly, her mind still on Usui, but for now, she tried to focus on the warmth of her family around her.
