"What if they come back?"
Kuroo raised an eyebrow at Usui's confident tone. "Nah, they won't," Usui replied with a chuckle, brushing off the possibility. "So that means, you're gonna stay with us?" (Y/n) asked, her eyes bright with curiosity. Usui nodded, flashing a smile. "Yes, I'm staying with you."
Then, a mischievous grin spread across Usui's face. "I've been wondering... while I was away, Rooster head, where did you sleep?" Usui asked, his eyes narrowing playfully. Kuroo leaned back in his chair, a sly smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "With (Y/n), why?" he teased, enjoying the moment.
Usui's expression changed immediately. He cracked his knuckles, his hand forming into a fist. "Oh really? I shall punch you in the face right now," he warned, his tone deadly serious, but his eyes sparkled with humor.
Kuroo didn't flinch, instead bursting into a laugh. "Chill, 'Brother-in-law,' I was joking," he said, laughing like a hyena, making (Y/n) laugh too. "I slept in your room," Kuroo added, and that seemed to satisfy Usui's anger for the moment.
Usui paused, his head cooling down. "Dang it, my futon must be smelly with your scent," he grumbled, rolling his eyes. Kuroo's eyebrows shot up, and he stood, clearly offended. "Excuse me? I smell good, for your information!" he retorted, his voice rising as he tried to defend his honor.
"No, you stink like a skunk," Usui smirked, crossing his arms in amusement. The two of them started to argue, their voices rising.
"You guys, calm down!" (Y/n) intervened, standing up to stop the chaos before it escalated. But Kuroo wasn't done yet. "Then, you smell like poop!" he shot back at Usui with a smug smile.
"You smell like trash!" Usui countered, grinning ear to ear.
"No, you smell like rotten cheese!" Kuroo shot back.
"Oh, yeah? Well, you smell like a stinky sock!" Usui laughed, getting into the groove of their argument.
"You smell like pee!" Kuroo yelled in retaliation, completely embracing the absurdity.
The two were at it again, creating an endless cycle of insults, making (Y/n) roll her eyes in exasperation. "YOU TWO, STOP!" she finally shouted, glaring at both of them. Instantly, both men turned to face her, their heads hanging in unison.
"Yes, ma'am," they both muttered sheepishly before sitting back down, their heads tilted in submission.
(Y/n) sighed deeply and sat between them, shaking her head. "But seriously, he smells like a skunk, though," Usui mumbled under his breath, earning a pointed glare from Kuroo.
"You smell like poop," Kuroo shot back with a smirk, his eyes narrowed in annoyance.
"No, you!" Usui snapped.
"No, YOU!" Kuroo fired back.
(Y/n) stood up once more, clearly fed up with the endless bickering. "I'm done with you two," she muttered as she walked away, leaving them to fight alone.
She joined the first years and the second-year Karasuno boys, minus Yamaguchi, who was still chatting with Yachi and smiling at her. "Hey, (Y/n)-San!" Hinata called out, waving her over.
"If you don't mind, can I join you guys?" (Y/n) asked politely, and the group nodded eagerly. She sat next to Tsukishima with a smile. "What were you guys talking about?" she asked, curious.
"We were talking about our future!" Hinata answered, his enthusiasm contagious.
"(Y/n)-San, when you graduate, what will you do in the future?" Kageyama asked, his gaze serious but curious.
"I don't know yet," (Y/n) answered with a grin. "And you all?" she asked, turning to the others.
"I'll be a volleyball player!" Hinata replied first, his eyes sparkling with determination.
"I will be a volleyball player too," Kageyama added, smiling proudly.
"And you, Tsukki?" (Y/n) asked, turning to him.
"Probably volleyball too," Tsukishima answered, his tone casual, but a small smile tugged at the corners of his lips.
"Then, I wish you all the best," (Y/n) said with a sweet smile, looking at all of them. "You too, (Y/n)-San!" they said in unison, a chorus of good wishes.
As the evening wore on, Daichi stood up, clapping his hands to get everyone's attention. "Everyone, it's late now. We should clean up all this mess and get ready to go. We're leaving tomorrow," he said, signaling the end of the celebration.
"Hai!" the boys shouted in unison, quickly jumping into action and helping to clean up the mess.
"(Y/n)-San, see you later or at school!" Hinata called out as they finished gathering their things.
"It was fun, having you guys here," (Y/n) said, smiling at the group, with Kuroo and Usui standing behind her. Her parents were already in their room, exhausted from the day's events.
"Same for us too!" the boys called, waving as they made their way out of the house.
"Bye, (Y/n), Kuroo, and Usui-San!" they shouted, smiling as they waved one last time before leaving.
"Bye, everyone!" (Y/n) said, Kuroo and Usui echoing her words as they waved and watched their friends slowly leave. The night had been full of laughter, love, and memories, and (Y/n) couldn't help but feel grateful for the people in her life.
