Dingding's P.O.V.
It's been a couple of weeks since our anniversary and I've been so busy. Well, I'm always very busy. Lately, not only am I holding numerous concerts a week, but I'm also participating in a film show that requires me to teach four children singing for a month.
It's hard to teach children but all of them have a very strong musical background, otherwise, they wouldn't have been accepted into this class. A total of 20 students, five celebrity teachers. It's been very tough since I have to balance everything, and I've been very stressed out lately.
I am planning on taking two of the kids out to eat lunch so I can go over some stuff with them, it'll be a good relaxor for all three of us. Once Adam and Bryce were ready, they got into the limo with me and we headed towards a hot pot restaurant, one of my favorites.
I held onto their hands as we entered the restaurant, setting off many screams. I signed a couple of autographs before we sat down at a table and began ordering a whole bunch of dishes. "Kids, order whatever you like, this is my treat to you guys for performing so well at the last recital," I said as they thanked me.
These kids were around 5-8 years old, so fairly young, but they already understand so much about music. "Adam, the next recital is in four days. I know you want to sing that song but have you done the research?" I asked as he nodded, "I already did the research and have begun rehearsing." I nodded proudly as the food came to us.
I grabbed onto my chopsticks and began scooping food onto their plates. I sighed as I watched them begin eating. Before I got married, I would dream of marrying someone I love and then having kids with them. I love kids so much, but I guess this will be the closest I ever get to having my own kids.
My career will slow down when I reach my mid-30s, but Ruwei and I aren't in love, so it'll be hard to have any kids. So I guess I might not have any kids my entire lifetime, which is sad to think about considering how much I want kids.
"Teacher, are you okay?" Bryce asked as I quickly began smiling, "Yeah, I was just thinking about how we only have two more weeks left. I'm going to miss you guys so much." I said as they both got up and walked to me. They wrapped their arms around me as I did the same to them.
I brought them close to me as they nuzzled their heads against my shoulder. "We're going to miss you so much, but we still have two weeks." Adam, the younger one, said as I nodded and rubbed their backs.
"You guys are right, we still have two more weeks, let's make the most of it." Just when I let go of them, I saw Ruwei walk into the restaurant with his manager and a few of his crew members. I sighed as the kids returned to their seats and Ruwei headed towards me.
"Hello, Ding. Nice to see you again." He smiled warmly as I nodded my head. All of a sudden, the kids started squealing, causing both our attentions to direct to them. "Oh my goodness, it's the famous actor Ruwei!" Bryce said with a small giggle.
"Bryce, you know Ruwei?" I asked as he eagerly nodded, "He's so cool in the shows! I can't believe I'm meeting him!" He said as Ruwei walked to him and wrapped his arms and picked him up effortlessly. I watched as Bryce looked at Ruwei so happily while Ruwei continued holding him.
Ruwei would make such a great father, the way he holds and smiles at Bryce. I quickly shook my head to stop these thoughts that I know will never, ever come true. "How about I join you for lunch?" Ruwei asked Bryce, who looked at me. I glared a little at Ruwei, who just continued smiling at me.
But Bryce is meeting his idol, I can't say no, so I reluctantly agreed. I motioned for Adam to come to sit next to me so they could have more space. I leaned over and scooped some more veggies and meat onto his plate.
