Dingding's P.O.V.

I continued crying and shaking as I laid on the bed. I know that Ruwei doesn't care whether I'm fat or skinny, but even if he doesn't care, I care. I want to look as good as possible whether it's for him or for my fans or simply just for myself. I like my figure right now, but I always feel like I guess do better.

But then every time I see desserts or yummy food, I always can't really help myself. I heard Ruwei knock on the door and asked me what's wrong, but I ignored him and continued crying. After a little while, I decided to let him in.

I wiped my tears away and went to unlock the door. He immediately took me into his arms, "Ding, why are you crying? Why did you lock the door?" He asked in a worried tone as I rested my head against his shoulder. "Was it the dessert, was it not good?" He asked.

"Ding, if I did something to hurt you, please, let me know. The last thing I want is to hurt you. It took me such a long time to get back into your life, I don't want anything to ruin it." He said as I broke free from his arms and went to sit down on the couch.

"If I tell you, you're going to think it's stupid," I mumbled. He took my hands in his as he sat down next to me and wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "I promise, please, tell me." He said as he gave me an encouraging kiss on the temple.

I took a deep breath, "I just want to look my absolute best, for you, for my fans, and for myself, but mainly for you. I know I'm in good shape right now, but I feel like I can always do better. Every time you buy me pastries or make me desserts, they always taste so good, but then I feel so guilty after eating them." I said as hot tears slid down my cheeks.

I heard him let out a sigh as he slid his arm under my knees and picked me up before placing me sideways across his lap. He held onto my waist as he ran his hand through my silky, straight hair.

"Ding, do you know what I love most about you?" He whispered into my ear, "What?" I asked as I continued crying, "I love how kind and gentle you are; I also love how you can go crazy at times as well. You're so maternal when you taught those children music, but you also get so wild when playing games or spending time with your friends. Women like you really are so hard to find in this world anymore, but I'm so lucky because I have one as my wife. Ding, I really don't care about your physical appearance, you are beautiful just the way you are, trust me, I wouldn't change a single thing about you, and if anyone dares to say anything negative about you, I promise they won't live to see the next sunlight." He said.

"But if it makes you feel more comfortable, next time when I get you desserts, I'll buy ones with less sugar and I'll buy them in smaller portions, how does that sound?" He asked as he kissed away my tears. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I brought his head down so I could kiss his lips.

"You always have a way to make me feel better," I said with a soft smile once we parted. "You're the most important person in my life, of course, I always I want you to be happy, now come on, you should get some rest, you have to wake up early tomorrow."

I grabbed my stuff and headed into the bathroom. I did my nighttime routine and changed into my pajamas before heading back into the room to find Ruwei already in bed playing on his phone. I looked over his shoulder and found that he was playing some sort of chicken game.

"Ruwei, a...a chicken game? How are you losing?" I asked in a confused and shocked manner as I sat down next to him on the bed. He started groaning as more of his chickens started dying. I just continued shaking my head as to how he could be losing at this game.

I undid my messy bun, allowing my hair to fall to my lower waist. I quickly checked my phone and took care of some business before heading downstairs and getting some water. As I was drinking water, I couldn't help but think about when Ruwei and I would become parents.
