Dingding's P.O.V.
"Are you sure this is safe?" I heard Ruwei ask as my crew members attached wires to my waist. I got invited to a show that specializes in endurance activities, so Liam and everyone is beginning to train me today doing all sorts of flips and stuff.
"Don't worry, it's not going to break," Liam said as I was pulled into the air. I watched as they placed a couple of mattresses underneath me just in case I would fall. I gave him a nod and I began swinging around in midair. Once I reached enough power, I began doing flips.
"Honey, be careful!!" I heard Ruwei yell as I did ten flips in a row. I began doing some stretches such as the splits and stuff in midair. After about ten minutes, they set me back down. "You know, Liam, we could do some of this stuff in my next concert," I said.
"I know you're in great health, but spinning that many times, that's tough on even the strongest person," Liam said as he handed me a bottle of water. "It doesn't hurt to try, if it doesn't work out, then we just won't do it anymore," I said.
"Alright, I'll put it into the plan then. Take five more minutes and then you have to go and rehearse with your dancers." He instructed before leaving. Just then, Kevin came running to me. "Mommy, can I try that?" He asked as he pointed to the wires.
"Sweetheart, it's too dangerous. The wires are tough but I'm afraid that if they do break, you're gonna get hurt." I said, "Mommy I won't get hurt, you can just swing me slowly, please???" He begged as I looked at Ruwei. "Just have them swing him slower and be more careful."
I nodded and set my water down before taking Kevin's hand and pulling him to the wires. I watched as the wires were strapped onto him. Just then, I got an idea. "Rhea, come and strap me up as well. I'll hold onto him from up there so he won't fall."
When we were both strapped in securely, we were brought midair. Kevin started screaming happily as we began slowly moving back and forth. "Kevin, let me know if you feel dizzy or want down, alright?" He gave me a thumbs-up as I continued holding onto him and we swang around.
"Mommy, oh my goodness this is so cool!!" He exclaimed after about five minutes. I held him in a flying position as we continued swinging back and forth. He put his arms out like superman and continued happily screaming.
To be honest, I've never seen him THIS happy. After a little while longer, I signaled for us to be set down. Kevin started jumping up and down once we landed, saying how awesome that was and that he wanted to do it again. I took his hand we headed to the main dancing room where all my dancers were waiting for me.
I told Kevin to either sit in the corner or go with Ruwei, he chose to sit in the corner. I began rehearsing with my dancers but I had to stop every once in a while to pull Kevin out of the crowd because he would get up from his seat and join my dancers, who would then not be able to focus on the fear of running into the little boy.
"Kevin!!" I snapped after dragging him out for the fifth time. He jumped a little, "Sit in your chair and stay there until I'm done here or go out with daddy. If you get up one more time, you're going out." I said annoyed before pushing him back into the chair.
I grabbed a bag of cookies and gave it to him before continuing to dance with my dancers. I would look at him every so often, and every time I looked at him, he was eating his cookies while swinging his legs. That is, until the fifth time I looked over, he was gone.
I began panicking as I ran out of the room shouting his name. I began running all over the studio searching for him. I began having a heart attack. I clutched onto my chest and began falling to the ground. Liam grabbed onto me and moved me onto the ground while bending my legs.
