Chapter 58

Dingding's P.O.V.

I watched from the waiting chairs as Ruwei went with Liam to take care of this situation. Within half an hour, he came back. He sat down next to me and took my hand in his, "Honey, everything is taken care of. All of your dancers' visas including yours will be renewed within the next half hour."

"Only half an hour??" I asked, "Yes, and then we'll be able to go home." He smiled tiredly. I began tearing up again as I threw my arms around him. "Ruwei, thank you so much. I can't believe you flew here." I said.

"How could I not? Remember, we're in this together. How could I stay in China when my wife is stuck in France with her team?" He comforted as he wiped my tears away. "It's going to be okay, just half an hour more. Ding, come on, let's go get something to eat, I know you haven't eaten anything in the past couple of hours."

I nodded and waved to Liam before Ruwei and I headed out. We went to a nearby snack shack and got some snacks for myself and my team. Ruwei handed me a couple of hot tea as we headed back to the building.

Once I finished distributing the snacks to everyone, Ruwei and I sat down in one of the chairs and began eating. "Ruwei, I really am touched. You dropped everything in China to come and rescue me, you didn't even hesitate." I said as I played around with the cup.

"Ding, we are a couple. When I first heard Liam talk about this, the first thing I thought of was how stressed you must be, and that I had to do something to help you out of that stressed-out state. I want to always be the person to be there for you in any situation."

I blushed as he peeled an orange for me. I leaned in and gave him a kiss before eating the orange. As Ruwei said, in half an hour, everything was done. We could finally go home. All my team members came up and hugged me. I took ten minutes to hug everyone!!

My team members boarded my jet and I boarded in Ruwei's jet. My jet took off first and this jet followed shortly after. Ruwei pushed one of the seats back as we laid down on the somewhat bed like seat. He threw a blanket around us as we drifted off to sleep.

After about 11 hours, we finally landed. However, I was so tired I legit didn't want to do anything. Ruwei tried to get me to stand up so we could exit the plane, but I wouldn't budge. I suddenly was lifted into his arms. I felt him put a pair of sunglasses on me as he began carrying off the plane.

I furrowed my eyebrows when I heard people beginning to scream, and flashes beginning to go off. I further buried my face into his chest as he continued walking. I'm guessing we have quite some security guards around us because normally you could feel yourself getting mobbed, but I felt no one around us.

I gripped Ruwei's shirt tightly in my fist as he continued battling his way through the paparazzi. Once we finally made it to the limos outside, he put me in and closed my door. I took off my sunglasses and took a deep breath as we finally left the airport.

Ruwei opened one of the storage boxes and handed me a bowl. "Ruwei, what's this?" I asked. Whatever it is, it smells delicious. "Take a look." He smiled. I opened the bowl and gasped happily, spicy ramen!! "Oh my goodness you got me ramen!!!"

"I know we ate some stuff, but that was so long ago. Plus, you've been in Europe for a whole week performing songs, I know you didn't really get to eat much. Ramen isn't the healthiest, but at least it'll satisfy your cravings until I cook you a feast tonight." He said happily as I began eating.

"Mhmm, wow this is so good. Oh my goodness, honey, you know me too well." I chuckled as I continued eating. Ruwei handed me a jug of milk once I finished the ramen. "Isn't this Kevin's?" I asked, "Yeah, but I just bought him another case yesterday." I nodded and popped it open, taking a sip.
