Dingding's P.O.V

Once everyone finished eating dinner, we all sat in the living room and began watching TV. Thankfully Ruwei bought a whole bunch of snacks, otherwise, the kids would probably eat us. It's only been half an hour since we ate, and the four of them are already eating.

I held Elisa on my lap throughout the entire night with Ruwei on my side. When she began to get heavy, Lily came and took her out of my arms. I shook my arms a little as it's hard to hold a three-year-old child for four hours straight, you get really numb.

I laid my head against Ruwei's shoulder as all that were remaining were us, adults. "Little sis, honestly, when are you and Ruwei going to have a kid? Elisa bugs us nonstop every single day." John asked as everyone else nodded, all our siblings have kids, it's just us now.

"I honestly don't know, because Ruwei and I are both just reaching the peaks of our careers, and when we do have a kid, we want to be there for them as much as possible, but it's going to be hard when we're practically living in a plane," I said.

"Ding, there's no perfect time to have a kid. Plus, you're at the perfect age to have your first child. Don't wait too long because it's only going to damage your body." Lily said as John agreed with her. I sighed and looked at them, they do have a point, there is no perfect time to have a child.

"Just think about it, because I know how much you want to have a kid. You have the perfect husband, the perfect career, and we will always be there to help you." John said as he got up with Lily. He patted my shoulder, and then Ruwei's before they headed upstairs to their room.

"Mom, Dad, I'm going to take Dingding to bed, she looks quite worn out," Ruwei said to our parents as he scooped me into his arms and carried me to our room. He locked the door and gently placed me onto the bed.

"Ruwei, I think Lily and John are right." I said as he turned to me, "About when to have a baby?" He asked, I got off the bed and walked to him. "Ruwei, she's right, there is no perfect time to have a child, but I'm at the perfect age to carry our first kid. Age doesn't wait for us, the older I get, the harder it'll be for me to successfully deliver our child."

"Ding, you're always so busy with your concerts and everything. I can stop filming to take care of the kid, but I want you to take care of the kid with me, plus, our little newborn will need to be with their mom most of the time. I don't want you to stop your career when it's just reaching its peak." He said.

"I know, but Ruwei, I want a kid so bad." Tears began flowing down my cheek as I thought about becoming a mother. "Ding, honey, don't cry, we'll think of something." He comforted as he pulled me into his embrace.

He gently rubbed my back as I began bawling into his shoulder. "Every time I hold Elisa, every time Elisa wobbles to me with her beautiful smile, I think about what our future kid will look like, how I would do anything for him/her to make them happy, but then I think about our careers and how complicated things could get."

"Honey, how about this, how about you continue performing in Beijing but just local, and I'll tell my manager to stop finding me roles for a couple of years until our baby grows up a little. This way, you'll still be able to perform but you'll still be with our child."

"No, Ruwei, I can't let you do that. You already stopped filming for a whole month just to go to Hunan with me. It's okay, this is just a temporary thing, once I cool down, I'll stop dreaming of all this. I'm 27, I still have some time, I don't need to have a kid right now."

I pushed myself out of his arms, but he just grabbed onto my arm and spun me back into his arms, "Dingding, listen to me, I told you before that I would do anything to make you happy. I know that this is not just a temporary thing, it's been on your mind for a very long time. If you're no longer happy, what's the point in me continuing to film? Ding, do you know why I became an actor?" He asked.
