Dingding's P.O.V.

After I made sure Kate was going to be okay, I left the hospital. But because I stayed at the hospital for a while, I'm a little behind in my part for my upcoming concerts. I was also supposed to release another song today, but from the looks of it, the earliest I can release it is tomorrow.

This is a collaboration with Jake for a drama series' theme song, we were very honored when the directors chose us since this drama is going to be a huge hit not just in China, but all of the world. Kevin kept clinging onto me and begging me to take him to the studio with him, seeing that he doesn't have much else going on, I finally gave in.

Ruwei went to film for his series as I took Kevin and headed to my studio where everyone was already waiting for me. "Guys, I am so sorry about this delay, I know this song was supposed to be released today." I sighed as I sat Kevin down on a couch.

"Don't worry about it, one day really won't make a difference since they're still not even done filming yet," Jake said as we entered the recording room. We both put on our headphones and began singing. It took a while to get it completely perfect, but we managed to do it within a couple of hours.

"Ding, for your concert in two days, remember to stay plenty hydrated this time," Liam told me as I grabbed onto Kevin's hand. "Don't worry, I only make the same mistake twice." I laughed as I gave Kevin a little tug. "Kevin, come on, we have to get going," I said, but he remained still.

I let out a sigh as I gave him a slightly harder tug, finally getting him to move. He grabbed onto my dress and we began heading out to the limo. "I can't believe we are finally collaborating." Jake said happily as we headed out, "I know right, this song is going to be such a hit." I said.

Just then, the paparazzi appeared. I felt Kevin's hand tighten around mine, but he remained his cool because I've told him many times before that no matter how many paparazzi mob us, to always stay cool.

I quickly bent down and picked Kevin up, placing him on my hip. Jake took off his jacket and handed it to me as I draped it onto Kevin, "Sweetie, keep your head on my shoulder and don't talk." I whispered as he did as told. I kept a hand on his back as Jake and I began rushing to my limo.

I let out a frustrated groan as the path to my limo was completely blocked with paparazzi. Jake suddenly grabbed onto my waist and pulled me to him, "Ding, let's take my limo, the path isn't blocked, I'll just have them drop you off." He said.

"Are you sure?" I asked as he nodded. I let out a little sigh when I saw our guards appear next to us. They began paving a path for us and moments later, we finally reached his limo. Jake held the door open for me as I got in with Kevin still in my arms.

Once we were on the road, I took the jacket off his body. He let out a small yawn as he looked at me tiredly, "You are such a good boy, Kevin." I said proudly as he gave me a small smile.

I thanked Jake once again after he dropped us off back home. I set Kevin down before heading to my room and changing out of my dress and into more of a casual outfit. "Kevin, what do you want to eat for dinner?" I asked as he ran into my room.

"I want to eat noodles!!" He said happily, "Alrighty, noodles it is!" He began hopping around the kitchen as I began cooking. I'm not that good at cooking, but I'm also not too bad of a cook. After about half an hour, Ruwei came home just as I finished cooking.

"Daddy!!" Kevin screamed as he jumped into Ruwei's arms. Ruwei picked him up and swung him around a couple of times before placing him in his seat at the dining table. After we ate dinner, Kevin ran back upstairs to his room. Though, I noticed Ruwei seemed a little off.
