Chapter 51

Dingding's P.O.V.

The past two weeks have been absolutely amazing and so relaxing, just the three of us in France. Now that our vacation is over, we're back in China working our busy careers. Ruwei is beginning to film a new series that should last the entire winter.

Liam has scheduled me to attend multiple shows as guest stars, one of them is the one Ruwei is currently filming. I never thought I would act that much since I mainly sing, but I guess I'm not that bad at acting. Also, in this way, I can spend more time with Ruwei.

Ruwei and I also discussed how we're not going to have any more children. I really wanted more, but my body isn't at its healthiest, after being poisoned for years. I don't want to risk anything. We are content with Kevin, who celebrated his fourth birthday in Paris a couple of days ago.

"So this costume has seven layers?" I asked in a scared tone. In this drama, I'm going to be playing the role of the most powerful Goddess. I was saved by Ruwei's character, but the two later split apart for years because of their different worlds, but they later reunite.

Once I was in this very, very beautiful yet layery dress, they double-checked my makeup and head accessories before shooing me to the main set. Ruwei's eyes popped out when he saw me. His character doesn't dress up in formal clothes until later on when the two characters meet again, so he's in normal everyday clothes.

"Oh my goodness, Dingding, honey, how many layers do you have on?" He chuckled as he walked to me and gave me a kiss, "They said seven. When I sit down, I can't even feel my butt. Why did our ancestors have to wear so fancy things?" I whined.

"But you do look so beautiful." He said. I rolled my eyes as I was pulled away. The director quickly explained how I needed to act in this scene. Once I got it, they yelled action. I slowly began walking to the portal of the kingdom I ruled, just getting news that Rolan (Ruwei's character) wants to take the immortality test so he can rise to Heaven and reunite with me.

"Your Highness, your father is not going to allow this. He's going to do everything in his power to stop Rolan from passing that test." Nina, one of my servants, said. I sighed as I looked in the portal. "My father may be the Ruler of Heaven, but he can't control every single thing that happens to me. I will do everything in my power to make Rolan pass this test. He saved my life, I need to thank him." I said.

I waved my hands and one of the extras threw me a pouch (my character has magic). I handed it to Nina, "Give this to Rolan but don't tell him it's from me. Tell him to mix this in his drink and drink it, it'll give him more stamina and power when he's competing." She nodded and left with the pouch.

"Rolan, you helped me, now, it's my turn to help you," I whispered. "And CUT!! Great job, Dingding!" The director yelled. The next couple of scenes didn't require me, so I went to where Kevin was and played with him for a while.

Kevin is going to start school in Beijing (where Ruwei and I will officially stay) next year when he turns five. We're not going to move around as much, even if we do, one of us will always stay in Beijing with Kevin because it's not good for a child to always be on the road when studying.

Kevin grabbed onto my head accessories and began playing with them, "Mommy, why are you wearing so many things on your head? And your clothes, aren't you hot?" He asked as he sucked on a lollipop. "Trust me, darling, I am so hot right now, but this is mommy's job, so I have no choice."

He looked at me for a second before suddenly taking off his clothes. My eyes widened as I jumped up, "Kevin!! What are you doing??" I shrieked as I quickly grabbed his shirt and held it down, "I'm hot, so I'm taking my clothes off." He said innocently as I looked at him, shocked.
