Chapter 29

Dingding's P.O.V.

I have been so nervous these past few days because my due date is in less than one week. I'm nervous about the birth because my family has a history of complications during labor and birth. I'm also nervous because this is the first time I'm going to be a mother, I'm so worried that I'm going to screw everything up.

Just because I have a good personality doesn't automatically make me a good and fit mother. I want to form the closest bond with Kevin as possible. I want that mother-child bond, the one that will always be unbreakable no matter what.

But now that I'm about to give birth, my stomach is HUGE. It is so hard to just literally anything. I can't even go to the bathroom without having a breakdown because I can't do anything like I used to. Ruwei spends so much time comforting the big baby that I've become.

He just finished filming his drama about a few days ago, so he's been beside me. His next drama isn't planned to start for a couple of months so he has time to help out with Kevin. Once Kevin is bigger and not as dependent, both Ruwei and I can return to work easier.

Ruwei wrapped his arm around me as he helped me down the stairs. I let out a big sigh as I sat down at the dining table. "You're almost there, honey. Just a couple more days." He encouraged me as he gave my temple a kiss before beginning to make dinner.

"I know, I know that this will all be worth it. It's just...so tiring." I sighed as I gently rubbed my stomach. "I know Ding, I'm so sorry you have to go through this, but I love the pregnant version of my wife." He smirked, "Oh really, this pregnant version of me is fatter, sweatier, more annoying, more clingy, whinier." I laughed.

"I love this pregnant version of you because this way, the entire world knows for real that you are my woman, and that if anyone dares to hurt you, they'll suffer the wraths of me and my entire crew." He said as be began cooking.

"Oh Ruwei, you really don't have to always be so worried about me going away with other men." I chuckled as I walked to him. "You're so beautiful, so kind, so gentle, you treat everyone so well, who wouldn't love you? So I have to always be on the lookout."

I laughed a little as I wrapped my arms around him and watched as he continued cooking, "Honey, trust me, I will forever be yours." He smiled at me as he leaned down to give me a passionate kiss. "Ruwei, once Kevin comes out, I want you to make love to me," I whispered.

"It's been too long since we last made love. I miss your touch so much." I said as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed my against the wall. Well, the food is definitely gonna be burnt. He began hungrily kissing me as his hands explored my body, resting on my breasts.

I let out a moan as he began kissing my neck. "Oh, Ruwei..." I moaned again as he lifted up my shirt and stuck his head inside, causing me to laugh as his childish move. He pushed aside my bra and began playing around with my breasts.

Now that I'm pregnant, my breasts have gotten a lot bigger as my body is preparing for Kevin's arrival. I ran my hand through his hair as he began running his tongue around my breasts. He trailed kisses down my stomach as his hands rested on my behind.

Moments later, his lips were on mine again as we continued just passionately kissing. Just then, I felt something come out of me. I widened my eyes and stopped kissing him, but he continued kissing me, not realizing something was off.

I slowly moved my eyes down to see a pool of water on the ground between my legs. Oh crap, Kevin is a week early. I gently pushed Ruwei off as I looked at him with frightened eyes. He looked utterly confused for a second before he looked down and gasped.

"Ding, don't panic, I'm gonna get you to the hospital right now." He said in a worried voice. Thankfully the pain isn't too bad right now, manageable. He picked me up and set me into the car, buckling up my seatbelt before running back into the house to grab the bags.
