Chapter 13

Dingding's P.O.V.

After Ruwei and I both wrapped up our own parts of the film, this drama series finally came to an end. Today, Ruwei and I are heading to Hunan where I will be attending as a guest judge on the dance show Amazing Dance, sort of like America's Idol.

In addition to being in Hunan as a judge, I'm also going to be holding concerts there so that I will once again be super busy. I'm just so happy that Ruwei is going to be coming to Hunan with me, I can't believe he let go of a role just to be with me.

Once everything was finally packed and loaded into the huge cars, we were ready to get going. Ruwei I would be traveling by my private jet with a few of our crew members and the rest would be driving our stuff to Hunan. I start appearing as a judge tomorrow so I need to get there quickly to settle in.

"Ding, have you eaten anything yet? I don't think I remember seeing you eat breakfast." Ruwei asked as he handed me a steamed bun. "I needed to supervise everyone to make sure we wouldn't fall behind schedule, but thankfully everything is done now."

I took the bun from him and instantly let out a moan, food is good. "Liam, come on, we need to get to the airport." I snapped for the thousandth time at him, "Did she wake up on the wrong side of the bed today?" Liam joked as he asked Ruwei.

Ruwei chuckled as he wrapped his arms around me, "Stop acting so romantic, we need to get going!" I said as I shook him off and began shoving people into the van. We may be on time now but if they continue playing around, we're gonna be late.

Once everyone was in, I grabbed onto Ruwei and climbed into the van. I did a final check before giving my driver a thumbs up. I grabbed onto my milk tea and took a long sip. Today is my cheat day, I have a cheat day once every two weeks otherwise I'm not gonna make it.

It's already time for lunch but I haven't even been able to cheat yet, so it's starting off bad. I set my tea down before looking into the bad of snacks that Ruwei bought for me earlier this morning when I was rushing our crew members.

I let out a tiny squeal as I pulled out a bag of dried squid and a bag of chips. I ripped open the bag and began eating, not realizing how everyone was staring weirdly and confused at me. I just ignored them as I continued enjoying my cheat day.

"Ding, keep eating like that and all your efforts of weight loss are going into the dumpster." Liam joked as Rose smacked him, "She doesn't even need to go on a diet in the first place, I honestly don't know why she is forcing herself to lose weight." Ruwei said as he continued watching me out.

"Okay, darling, I know today's your cheat day and everything but you can't have any more snacks, we're about to eat lunch soon," Ruwei said as he took away my snacks. I let out a pout, "You can have your snacks after lunch, they're not going anywhere." He laughed.

I continued pouting throughout the entire car trip until we arrived at the airport. Ruwei and I both let out an annoyed sigh as we saw mobs of paparazzi waiting for us. Thankfully they don't know it's us, they just know it's some celebrity. We both put on sunglasses as Ruwei handed me a pillow, where I would be burying my face in.

Ruwei put on a hat and slipped into a pair of sweats so the paparazzi can't tell from body shape either. Ruwei exited first as he helped me out of the car. He placed his hand on my waist as I pressed my face against the pillow tightly.

He began leading me through the crowds of people. I could literally feel people pressing against us, but I trust Ruwei. After a little while, Ruwei told me we arrived. We took a few moments to take off our disguises before getting into my jet.

Once everyone in our crews got in, we began to take off. Shortly after takeoff, lunch was served. I was so hungry that I didn't even realize what I ate, which is a very stupid thing because I just recently found out that I'm allergic to scallops, but I haven't had the chance to tell anyone yet. My stomach started churning as I looked down at my plate.

I let out a little terrified scream as I pressed my hands against my stomach as it began bubbling and churning and hurting. I quickly rushed into the bathroom and began emptying my stomach. I let out another cry as I hurled another time. I felt Ruwei kneel down next to me as he patted my back.

After about half an hour of throwing up, I finally leaned against the wall and began taking deep breaths because I really just did not have any energy left in me. After a little while, Ruwei helped me stand up. "Ding, what happened? Was it something you ate?" He asked.

"I just recently found out that I'm allergic to scallops; I was so hungry I didn't even look at my plate before eating." I said weakly as he sat me down, "You're allergic to scallops and your people still served it to you?" He asked in an angry voice, "No, I just found out, I haven't told anyone yet."

"Ruwei, can you get me some water, I'm so tired..." I said as my eyelids began fluttering. He returned soon with a glass. He helped me sit back up and watched as I drank the water before laying back down.

"Ding, will be you be okay to attend the event tomorrow?" He asked as he ran his hand through my hair, "Don't worry, it's just throwing up, it's nothing too bad. Plus, we're on a plane, so it makes everything a bit worse but I'm sure that once we land it'll be fine." I said as he nodded.

"Ruwei, can you hold me?" I asked softly as he smiled and sat down next to me. He easily scooped me up and into his arms before placing me sideways across his lap. I leaned my head against his shoulder as he held onto me tightly. "Get some rest, we still have a while before we land." He whispered.

Upon landing...

After we landed, we headed directly to Ruwei's house. Ruwei purchased a lot of houses in the bigger cities in China due to his job of needing to travel around so much. Oddly enough, he doesn't have a house purchased in Zhejiang even though he goes there a lot.

His room, well, I guess it's our room now, is the size of four houses. It's so huge. I spent the next couple of hours organizing my things because we would be staying here for about a month before going to Guangdong, so a while. After I was done, I headed downstairs to see Ruwei cooking something.

I looked at my phone and saw that it was already almost dinner time. Wow, time really does fly. I walked up to Ruwei and wrapped my arms around him from behind as I leaned my chin against his shoulder, I heard Ruwei let out a small laugh.

"Darling, tonight we're gonna celebrate because this is our first day officially living together in our house. I made ten dishes and also your absolute favorite dessert." He said as I looked over his shoulder, "Wow, I know you're good at cooking but wow, this is so incredible." I said, amazed.

"Ding, since I won't be doing much this next month, I'll make a different dish every single day. You've been so tired and busy that you don't even have time to take care of yourself." He said as he took me into his arms.

"Ruwei, it's really not that bad. Plus, this is your month off, I want you to relax as much as possible because you're going to be filming again soon." I said as he gave me a gentle kiss, "Is this the lipstick that I got you?" He asked as he touched my lips; I nodded.

He slowly leaned down as he nibbled my upper lip with his lips. I let out a laugh as he pressed me against the fridge and continued nibbling my lips. After a little while, we full-on began making out. Though, he did keep his hands off of the restricted areas.

We parted when the pot almost burst open. I sat down at the table as he placed all the dishes onto the table and we began to eat. I frowned when I saw the special green drink that Rose made for me next to me. "Did Rose leave this here?" I asked as he nodded.

Ruwei started laughing as I looked at the cup, "She apparently thinks this is like magic or something and it's gonna work." I muttered as I pushed the cup away, "Darling, when we actually get ready to have a baby, then you drink it, you don't have to drink it now." He said.

"Good, cause I wasn't gonna drink it anyway," I said as we continued eating. After we had dinner, Ruwei placed the shaved ice in front of me. I got so happy that I jumped up and almost crashed into the shaved ice. My favorite kind is with the sugary red beans and yolk and syrup on top of the ice, wow that's heaven.

Ruwei handed me a large bowl as I began eating. However, as I was about halfway done, I suddenly stopped eating. Negative thoughts once again appeared in my mind. I looked down at my body and then at the shaved ice, immediately setting it down.

The moment I set it down, I got up and rushed upstairs, locking the door behind me, falling onto the bed and beginning to cry.
