Dingding's P.O.V.

Over the past two months, I've been working harder than ever in making sure that my dancers don't leave me. Even though they hurt me deeply, but they knew that they did was wrong, and that's what's important to me, realizing your mistake.

I'm currently on two teaching shows, one for little children and the other for young adults. Honestly, I really don't know how I'm balancing everything out because, in addition to these two teaching shows, I'm also composing songs for three different drama films right now.

Ruwei, of course, has not been very happy lately because he doesn't want me to tire myself out, especially during my first pregnancy, but I don't have another choice. I guess this wasn't the best time to get pregnant, since I'm still at the peak of my career, but there never is a perfect time.

I spend my early morning to noon teaching my students, then afternoon to evening teaching my other students, then evening to the deep night at my studio composing songs. It's a lot harder now to compose the songs since I don't have time to go in person to watch them film the drama.

I glanced at my phone, seeing that it was already 2 in the morning. I let out a sigh as I looked back at the notes on my desk. Everyone besides Liam had already left the stadium. Ruwei has been extremely busy as well filming since they are moving up the release date, so everyone has to work extra hard.

"Liam, really, I'm fine here, it's already 2 in the morning, you should go home and get some rest." I said tiredly, "Dingding, you know I can't leave you in this place all alone. Yes, it's your studio and it's heavily guarded, and yes, you know martial arts, but still, you're a woman and you're pregnant." He said as he rubbed his eyes.

"But honestly, you can't keep doing this, you're going to tire yourself out to death." He said, "I know it's not the best, but I don't have any other solution at this point. Everyone wants money." I shook my head.

We sat for another while before Ruwei walked in. "Liam, thanks again for staying this late." He said in a tired tone, "Don't mention it; alright, Dingding, I'll see you tomorrow then. Get some rest." I nodded and then he took his stuff and left. Ruwei looked at me and sighed.

"Ding, don't be mad at me for what I'm about to tell you, but I pulled you out of both the programs you're in." My eyes widened as my jaw dropped as I stared at him. "You're my wife, you're the mother of my child, I know you think you can handle it, and you can, but I'm not taking any risks. I know you like to be independent, but Ding, you have a husband, this is what husbands are for. Pregnancy is not an easy thing, look at how tired you've been this past month! I miss my wife, I can't even see you during the day and now I can't even see you during the night either."

"Ding, I make more than enough money to support your dancers. We are a married couple, we are starting a family, why would I make all this money if I'm not going to use any of it? I know you don't want to, but I am your husband, I am supposed to be there for you. You may be mad at me, but through time, you'll understand that I'm doing all this for your health. You can continue composing songs in your free time, but no more running around."

I let out a sigh as I began thinking about what he just said. He does have a good point. I've not been myself this past month because I'm turning into a ghost. I'm on the verge of breaking because I've been so tired. He's right, if I continue tiring myself out like this, the baby won't come out to be too healthy.

I stopped looking at the ground and looked at him, I took his hands in mine. "Ruwei, thank you." I said as I started crying, "You're the only one who can see through my smile. I don't know how much longer I would have lasted, I'm...I'm just so tired." I sniffled.
