Dingding's P.O.V.
"So, light brown?" William, my hair artist, asked. It's been a very long time since I last dyed my hair. "Okay, we don't need to bleach it since I'm going to put on a solution for about ten minutes, and then we'll put on the actual hair dye itself." He said as he laid me down and began washing my hair.
Once my hair was washed and dried, he applied the solution after trimming it a little. "So in three days, you're going to perform at the Grammys in Los Angeles?" He asked once the solution was applied. "Yep, I want to change up my look a bit, it's been a while."
About three hours later, everything was done. I smiled as I looked in the mirror. My new hair. It was a light brown and slightly curled at the bottom. I normally have jet black straight hair. I'm so excited, I can't wait for Ruwei to see this!
I grabbed my stuff and went to Ruwei's film set. I found him filming a midair scene, looked like a battle scene. Everyone around me gasped when I arrived. We started talking about my new look for about ten minutes before Ruwei was let down.
He came over to me and his jaw dropped, "Ding, oh my goodness, you look so beautiful." He said as he looked at my hair. I blushed a little as I spun around, "Do you like my new style?" He nodded and carefully touched my hair. "You trimmed, dyed, and curled your hair, no wonder it took you all morning." He chuckled as he leaned in and gave me a kiss.
"Ruwei, honestly, you and Dingding have managed to stay China's IT couple for six years now! No couple has made it past you two!" One of his team members exclaimed, "Their love is what our movies are based on." The directed laughed as he joined us.
"I really am the luckiest man alive, to have you as my wife." He said sincerely as everyone around us awwed. They began chanting for us to kiss. I tried waving it off since we normally don't publicly display affection cause we know it's awkward for the people around us.
I tried waving it off, but Ruwei really seemed to like the attention. The next thing I knew, he grabbed my waist and dipped me, capturing my lips with his. Everyone started screaming as Ruwei continued kissing me. I felt him press his lips against me harder as his hands dug into my waistline.
I gave his chest a little push, causing him to break the kiss. He set me back up straight as I took a deep breath. "Oh my goodness, my husband has never ever kissed me like that." One of the women said as others started awwing over us, still.
"Ruwei, really? A kiss, not a makeout session." I said as he leaned into my ears, "Trust me, honey, I take every opportunity I can to make out with you." I rolled my eyes as he pulled me into his arms, "But in all seriousness, can I please go to LA with you?" He asked.
"I'm sorry, but you have to stay here with Kevin. Plus, it's only going to be for a week. I'll be back before you guys even realize I'm gone." I said, but he just held onto me tighter, "Kevin is on winter break, he can come with us. His break is for two weeks, you're going for one week, the time works out."
"I know it does, but Kevin is only five, I don't want him traveling around the globe. His mind is going to be everywhere but on his studies, so stay here with him, okay?" I asked gently, he just pouted in response.
I let out a laugh, "I promise I'll make it up to you, how does that sound?" He immediately chirped up and nodded, I swear, men. "How about you and I do a little love right now?" He asked as he dragged me to his dressing room and locked the door.
I let out a little scream as he pressed me against the couch, "Ruwei, we're in public!" I laughed as he began kissing my neck. "This is my dressing room, no one is allowed in unless I let them." He said before unzipping my dress and pulling it off of me.
"Plus, with that hair, how can you expect me to wait until tonight?" He chuckled as he began kissing my body, peppering me with kisses. I let out a moan as he gripped my breasts and unhooked my bra, tossing it aside effortlessly. He positioned himself before me and with one thrust, entered into me. I let out a scream but quickly covered my mouth with my hand as he began moving faster and faster.
He hovered over me as he kissed my neck. We continued for another couple of minutes before we had to stop or else someone would actually come and check on us. "Ruwei, you messed up my hair!" I laughed as I continued laying on the couch.
"Honey, you look beautiful no matter what." I let out a sigh as I pressed my hand over my lower stomach. "We only made love for about ten minutes, why am I sorer than our first time?" I laughed as he put a towel over me, covering me up. "Do you want me to give you a massage?" He asked.
"Honey, we both know that if I let you touch me again, we're going to start having sex again." I chuckled as I pushed him away and sat up. I grabbed my clothes and changed into them before straightening up my hair. It was honestly quite the mess.
I double-checked myself again before leaving his room. Gosh darn it, I'm late to pick up Kevin. I sped and then ran as fast as I could in heels and managed to get there only a couple of minutes later.
"Mommy, did you run?" Kevin asked as I took his hand, "Yeah, I was worried that you would get worried. Mommy was running late, so I ran half the way here." I said as he looked at down at my shoes, "Mommy, it's okay, I remember what you and daddy told me, to always wait for either you guys or Rose to pick me up, you don't have to run in heels."
I smiled as I picked him up once we got home. "Mommy loves you so much," I said as he wrapped his arms around my neck and let out the cutest laugh ever. "Mommy, I like your new hair color." He said as he ran his hand through my hair.
"Mommy spent all morning dyeing and styling it, but it's all worth it." I turned around with Kevin still in my arms when Ruwei came into the house. "Daddy!!" Kevin said happily as I set him down and he ran into Ruwei's arms. "Next time, daddy will hold you, mommy's always in heels and you're getting so much bigger!" Ruwei said.
"Okay, daddy! Oh, right, mommy told me in that car that we're going out to eat tonight." Kevin said as Ruwei nodded, "Yep, we're going to celebrate mommy's performance in LA ahead of time! Now go and get ready, we'll leave in ten minutes."
He let go of Kevin and Kevin ran upstairs. Ruwei came to me and took me into his arms, "Are you feeling better?" He asked with a small smirk as he placed his hand on my stomach. "Next time, go easier." I laughed as he bent down and picked me up.
"When is next time going to be?" He smirked as I smacked his shoulder, "Ruwei!" I laughed as Kevin came running downstairs. "Mommy, are you okay??" Kevin asked in an alarmed tone as he ran to us, "Don't worry, mommy is perfectly fine, but daddy just wants to hold her." Ruwei said as he gave me a kiss, causing Kevin to laugh.
"But I want mommy!!" He yelled as he began jumping up and down, "Ruwei, let me down, our son is going to throw a tantrum." I said, "Then we'll watch him throw a tantrum." He smirked as I sighed and watched as Kevin continued jumping.
"Ruwei, let me down!" I said again as he finally let me down. I bent down and picked Kevin up, "There, are we happy now?" I asked as he nodded and stuck his tongue out toward Ruwei, who purposefully pretended to come and start a fight.
I turned Kevin around in my arms so my other half was blocking Ruwei. "Ruwei!!" I yelled as he continued trying to reach Kevin, who continued making faces at his dad. Ruwei finally stopped and I turned to Kevin, who was moving his eyebrows up and down.
"Alright sweetheart, let's not make daddy too jealous now," I said as I gave him a kiss before setting him down. "I want a kiss too," Ruwei said as he stuck his lips out. "Kevin, darling, should I kiss him?" I asked as Kevin thought for a while and nodded, "Yeah, kiss daddy!!"
"Don't mind if I do," Ruwei said as I let out another shriek as he grabbed onto me and dipped me. "Wow!!!!" Kevin yelled as Ruwei kissed me. I pressed my hand against his cheek as he stood me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him again.
Six years ago, I was afraid to love. I was afraid that it would affect my career, but I never knew how powerful love is. Ruwei used his own life to save me so many times. He would always stand on my side whether I'm right or wrong. Whenever I'm sad or in pain, he would do whatever he could to make me feel better as quickly as possible.
Ruwei really is my fated companion.
