Hey Moonlights!

Because it's the super "flower" moon tonight, and the last supermoon of 2020, I'll give this chapter to y'all as a gift. Let's appreciate the beauty of the moon tonight and hope that better days are coming with its radiant light.

I'VE BEEN staring at the screen of my laptop for nearly an hour now. I am reading Arnabeth Noblez's file and at the same time, feeding up my deduction of what she told me days ago.

After our conversation, I gave her a ride to her house. We didn't talk again after that and I spent days digging the past and gathering authentic information about her and her family. Upon doing that, I found myself playing a game of puzzle.

It's too much of a coincidence but I think the puzzle turns out to be connected with my mission.

I thought from the start that I need to distance myself from her so that she won't be in any harm. But then I found out that she's an adopted sister of the person who wants my client dead.

My eyes landed back to her parent's name. Rowena Noblez lang ang nakalagay at wala nang nakalagay na pangalan ng adoptive father niya. Hindi rin nakalagay ang pangalan ni Chelsea but the name Rowena rings a bell to me. 'Yon kasi ang nakalagay sa parent's name ni Chelsea when I first read her file weeks ago, but I clearly remember that it was Rowena Raganas and the father's name is empty. Inakala ko nga nun na baka hindi nakilala ni Chelsea ang kaniyang ama. Noong mga panahon 'yon na hindi ko pa alam ang totoong pagkatao niya.

But now that I think of it, that is impossible. They have their father with them and that's according to Noblez's story. I'm sure that someone manipulated their files so that no one would know about their father's identity.

My gaze crawled up to a photo of Arnabeth Noblez attached to the file then it landed to the envelope beside my laptop. It was the casefile that I asked from Kuya Tom weeks ago.

Apparently, Arnabeth Noblez plays an important role in my mission. I just need to find the last piece of the puzzle to support my deduction. Because even though the puzzle is almost done and I can clearly tell what it is, people would always look for the missing piece.

A puzzle with one missing piece is still considered incomplete after all.

Nakuha naman ang atensiyon ko nang biglang may nag pop up na notification sa laptop ko. It's from Chelsea's phone so I immediately click and check it.

An unregistered number was calling her and when she answered, she greeted the caller with utmost respect in her tone and voice. I listened intently to their conversation.

This could be the missing puzzle that I'm looking for.

"Good morning Master," I heard her say.

"There is no good in my morning Chelsea! There will be no good days until I get a hold of that damn necklace!"

I was taken aback when I heard the man's familiar voice. I have a good sense of hearing and I can easily recognize the owner of a person's voice even though I only heard them talk once. That's why I got a habit of not checking the caller before answering it.

And this man's voice is not an exemption.

"I apologize Master."

"I don't need your apology! I need you to give me what I want! I gave you this mission because you asked for it. You told me that you will prove to me your worth. And now that you failed many times, I don't know if I still want you to be my successor. I can't leave my mafia to a loser like you. I'm so disappointed! Hindi kita pinalaking talunan!"
