Jack Gilinsky’s P.O.V.

there are gonna be some pictures for this chapter, so go to this link http://weheartit.com/entry/151567434 to see it. rly reccommend it.  oh yeah, there's gonna be a song in this chapter here, and that song is on the side. but it's only the first verse that's in this chapter.

“Jack? Where are we going? I have to be on stage in a few minutes!” Lys protested as I pulled her through the lumps of people backstage. “Will you slow down?”

“Don’t worry. I have everything set up,” I replied, a small smile appearing on my face.

After all this time getting ready, scrambling to get all the pictures for the presentation for tonight. All the nights I spent sitting on my bed, watching her in her peaceful sleeping, tapping my pencil on the table, trying to find the lyrics to part of the song. It was finally all ready. Just in time.

“What are you talking about? Sammy and Nate just finished their set! I have to go!” her tone clearly stated that she was growing frustrated with me, but I couldn’t help but smile at how cute she was and how expression would be when she saw this.

I turned around, and kissed her, right on the lips. She was taken back by the sudden affection, but then I could feel her lips relaxing against my own, molding with it.

As much as I wanted to kiss her more, I pulled away, “Just trust me, babe.”

She sighed, “Fine.”

“That’s my girl,” I smiled against her neck before placing soft kisses.

She laughed that musical laugh of hers that I could play and listen to it all day.

“Go away. That tickles,” she nudged me with her hand, another laugh escaping her lips, “Jack, stop.”

I moved my head from her neck, giving her a little peck. “Let’s go,” I said, tugging her towards the stage.

The curtains were drawn down, so the audience couldn’t see what was happening, as we were putting everything on stage for the set I had planned.

From the corner of the stage, I could see Annie standing there, in her normal pose, arms crossed over her chest, squinting to see who was taking the stage. As soon as she recognized it was us, she sent a glare our way. She was about to make her way towards us and tell us off, but Jack pulled her back, saying something about how one of the backup dancers just threw up, distracting her. Just as planned. Perfect.

I led Lys towards the piano, sitting at the middle of the stage. I tapped on the top of the piano, indicating that she should sit on it.

Her brows pulled together, and she looked skeptical but obliged anyway. I sat on the chair and placed my fingers on the piano keys, getting ready to play. I turned towards the side of the stage where I saw Cass standing smiling wide, and nodded at her. Her smile grew, if it was even possible, and she jumped up, clapping her hands a bit, before running off.
