Chapter 27

"Wag kang kabahan, Finn. Kaya mo yan." Caius said when we reached the building for the runway.

Today is the runway for Versace. 2 days din kaming nag-rehearse at laking tuwa ko nang malaman kong makakasama ko pala sina Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid, Imaan Hammam at Cara Delavigne. During the rehearsals ay kinapalan ko na talaga ang mukha ko para lang makapagpa-picture at autograph ako sa kanila. I'm sure Kitty will be happy kapag pinakita ko sa kanya iyon.

Nginitian ko si Caius bago kami pumasok sa building. I am glad he never left my side. Alam kong na-bobore sya sa ilang oras na panunuod lang sa akin pero pagkatapos naman nun ay iti-treat nya ako. Kinikilig ako and at the same time I feel lucky and blessed having him beside me. He removes my stress and weariness and he changes those feelings with a great pleasure of joy.

"Pepwesto na kami, Finn. Galingan mo, okay? Good luck." Sabi ni Ms. Andrea nang pumasok na kami sa kwarto kung saan ang runway.

"Thank you po." Sagot ko naman tapos ay hinarap ko si Caius.

Mabilis nya akong linapitan at yinakap. I hugged him tight para makahugot ako ng lakas ng loob.

"Kaya mo yan. Ikaw pa? Ikaw kaya si Finn." He said when he pulled apart kaya bahagya akong natawa.

"Thank you, Caius. I love you." I whispered before I walked away from them.

Pero nakaka-ilang hakbang pa lang ako nang may humatak sa braso ko kaya napa-harap ako sa kung sino man ang taong iyon. I was suprised when I saw Caius grinning at me.

"I love you too, Finn." He said before he pulled me and planted a kiss on my forehead which made my insides go crazy.

Back then I was just wondering what would it feel like when his lips kissed my forehead and now it was answered. It was a very nice feeling.

The stylists styled my hair into a slick push back while my eye makeup is an avant garde in different shades of green. My lipstick is a dark green lipstick and they made my cheekbones pop because of a defined contour.

Then the stylists helped me in wearing my dress which is jungle print romper dress. It is a spaghetti stap, the neckline is v-neck and the back is open. I wore the 4-inch diamond-detailed knee-high gladiator heels. After that, we were told to wait for our cue dahil mag-uumpisa na ang show.

"Hi, Finn. Is your boyfriend with you?" Courtney asked.

She's my co-model who is a tall white American who has been eyeing Caius since our rehearsal. Nakita ko sya na kinakausap si Caius habang nag-rerehearse ako at sabi ni Caius ay tinanong lang daw sya ni Courtney kung sino sya. But I know Courtney likes him. Syempre pinagdaan ko na yung stage na pasulyap-sulyap sa crush.

"Yeah. He's outside." Sagot ko sabay paskil ng isang pekeng ngiti.

"Can I invite the two of you in my flat?" Tanong nya.

"We won't be staying that long here in New York." Pag-sisinungaling ko.

"Please, Finn. Even just for--"

Hindi na nya natapos ang sinasabi nya nang tawagin na ako ng staff. I just smiled at her fakely before I went out of the dressing room. Baka ano pa ang gawin nya kay Caius kapag na-lingat lang ako sandali.

I took deep breaths before I went out on the runway. Nagulat ako sa dami ng mga tao. Of course, it's a Versace runway, Finn. Sabi ko sa sarili ko. Mahaba-haba ang runway na ito dahil it's a circular runway.

I held my chin up when I started walking. I maintained my look straight ahead to not feel embarassed nor faltered. Then I saw Caius with his phone up and I winked at him when I passed by their place. Ilan pang minuto ay natapos na ako at mabilis akong pumasok sa dressing room para magpalit ng damit.
