Kaminari and Jirou unexpectedly met up with Ashido's group not long after, and all collectively agreed to eat at the same place.

"C'mon Hanta, it's a good theory though," Ashido was squinting at Jirou and Kaminari, talking by a food stand, swirling a straw around in her red slushie cup.

"You have no proof, so I won't believe it," Sero bit into a sandwich, practically ignoring her. "Plus, Denki talks to all girls like that," he looked back up at Ashido with a skeptical stare.

"Okay but she only smiles like that with him," Ashido kept her voice low, bending toward him. "Hear me out, hear me out, what if- it's actually Kami who likes her?"

"I highly doubt that, Mina. He told me they were strictly friends," Sero rolled his eyes, taking another bite of his sandwich.

"What about this makes you think it's not possible, can't you see my dramatic hand gestures?" Ashido stressed her words.

"Maybe because it's Jirou you're talking about, have you met her? She's the most emotionless, stoic and scary person I have ever met, besides maybe Bakugo or Todoroki. And Kaminari? The guy flirts with anyone he sees," Sero held an irritated face. "I just wanna eat my sandwich, babe. Can't a guy eat peacefully?"

The two had been dating since last year, which some of their fellow classmates found surprising, but their dynamic worked well. Besides the relationship, they had another piece holding them together—Kaminari. They were both close friends with the electric quirk user, and actually the reason how they both ended up together.

"Hanta," Ashido shook him by the shoulders, making him drop the tomatoes from his bread. "Hanta listen, this'll be a scientific breakthrough," she raised her eyebrows.

"Mina-"

"No, no, hear me out," she let go and counted on her fingers. "Remember, he's the reason we're sitting here now, we could totally repay him."

Sero didn't reply, and tried to fix his ruined sandwich.

"Second, they already have a great bond, why not edge them closer, huh? He already remembers literally every little thing about her," Ashido added. "He forgot about my birthday but somehow remembered her favorite food is chocolate covered strawberries with vanilla zig zags," Ashido leaned forward.

Sero picked at his bread, glancing over at her while squinting his eyes.

"How did you remember that?"

"Third-" she continued, ignoring him. "Haven't you noticed he's only outrageously stupid around her?"

Sero wore a doubtful expression, glancing over at Kaminari who was ordering his food with Kirishima.

"I guess. . ? He's generally like that though?" Sero shrugged.

"Hanta, you and I both know he's stupid, okay. But that's like a different level stupid, like- he's doing it on purpose," Ashido came close to a whisper with her voice. "Like have you seen his grades in our literature classes? The kid's a lingual genius but terrible at like- everything else."

"Kid? He's older than yoummffg-"

"Shut up, that's besides the point," Ashido shook her head, shutting his mouth with her hand.

"What are you guys doing?" Kaminari stood with a tray of food, wearing a confused face. "Are you like- feeding him his sandwich. . . because-"

"Nonononono, I was just- uh. He chews with his mouth open, it's gross," Ashido made a disgusted face, hoping Kaminari would buy it.
