2nd Year
"Hey, is something wrong?" Jirou asked with a head tilt.
"Oh, no, everything's great!" Her friend replied with a bashful grin.
"Really? I thought you'd be more upset about. . .you know the break up," she mentioned.
"Well, sometimes things just don't work out," Kaminari replied. He was lying across the commons room couch, laying on his stomach, his phone in hands. "And. . .I don't really think she liked me anyway."
"What do you mean?"
"I think she only used me for her popularity."
"Seriously? That makes me want to punch her more then," Jirou had her arms crossed tightly, tapping her fingers long her left arm, like doing that was going calm her down, which it didn't.
"It's alright," Kaminari reassured her, then gazed back at his phone screen.
There was a photo of a preppy looking first year he'd met during December. It was now January, and in three months it'd be the end of their second year. He went through selecting every photo, every video, every little mention of her existence and hovered his thumb over the 'delete' button.
"Besides. . .it was me who broke up with her," Kaminari added before all the pictures fled from his phone.
"Well good for you, I'm glad you finally saw who she was. I knew I didn't like her from the way she glared at me when we first met," Jirou fumed from her single armchair she sat in.
Kaminari didn't admit it, but he felt it too. The tension peaked when Akari caught him talking with Jirou after class. He didn't think she took that very well, because immediately after that day, Akari gave Jirou hell anytime she saw her, despite still being a year younger than them. Kaminari didn't think she knew about upperclassmen respect either.
"I swear, she hated me. She hated me with a passion Kaminari," Jirou continued irritably. "I don't think she knows that people can have friends the opposite gender."
Kaminari gave a mocking snort.
"What?"
"You're just funny when you're all mad," he chuckled.
"This isn't funny! I'm serious," Jirou bantered back. Her response only made him laugh more, when his laughing didn't stop he was smacked in the face with a couch pillow.
"Ow-" he looked over at her offended before dropping his phone on the couch to grab a pillow. And at that she hopped away from her spot and retreated behind her armchair

So this scene was super short, but it was basically supposed to show how Kaminari, even though he dated other people, preferred Jirou over them. Akari was the 4th girl he'd dated at his time in U.A. and at this point in time, Jirou had mutually liked him back before giving up her third year.
He also only dated others to forget about Jirou, but no matter what she'd always be there.
