Ashido and Uraraka were in Ashido's dorm together, currently preparing to leave for the dance in half an hour. Ashido had a curling iron in her hand, twirling the last few strands of the brunette's hair around the barrel.
"Momo's coming down to our floor in a few minutes," Uraraka said as she scrolled through her phone.
"I'm so excited to see her dress! I bet it's a show-stopper," Ashido said excitedly, gently dropping the newly curled piece of hair on Uraraka's shoulders.
"Did Jirou ever mention if she was actually going or not?" Uraraka turned around to ask.
"Oh, I guess it was never explained," Ashido rubbed her chin. "But she mentioned to me last week she was thinking about it," Ashido added as a knock startled her.
"It's Momo!" Uraraka opened the door to reveal Yaoyorozu in a sea green, plunge dress that had accents of gold covering the bust and waist. Her hair was draped behind her in deep, black waves, part of it being held up with a golden clip in the back. Around her neck was a necklace adorned with small gold roses and petals.
"Awe you look so pretty!" Ashido hopped up and down.
"You both look pretty!" Yaoyorozu complimented with blush of appreciation covering her cheeks.
Ashido was in the royal blue dress she had shown the girls last week, accented with blue eyeshadow to match and a silver necklace around her neck. Uraraka was in a light peach colored dress with a halter style and ruffles along the bottom hem. Ashido swiped a pink bow off of her dresser, giving the last finishing touches to Uraraka's hair by fixing half of it in a cute, loose bun.
A buzz came from Ashido's phone as she placed several bobby pins into her friend's hair, making sure it stayed in place. She scooped up her phone, finding a text from Sero asking where they were.
"They're wondering where we are," Ashido glanced into the mirror, fixing her hair. Grabbing a small bag, she shut off the lights and shuffled into the elevator with the two other girls.
"Are we getting Kyoka as well?" Yaoyorozu asked as the elevator door closed, pausing to hover over the 3rd floor button.
"I don't know if she's actually going, but it's worth a shot to check," Ashido put a finger on her lip, bringing out her phone to text Jirou as Yaomomo clicked her floor button.
Hagakure was spending the night with Oijiro, and Asui with a student who'd asked her from another class, a class of which no one knew yet. Which left only Jirou as a person of interest. Jirou had told Ashido she was debating it, but she had never confirmed nor denied ever going, despite Ashido's interrogations. It was highly unlikely someone like Jirou would go, though. Knocking on her dorm door, the three waited patiently.
"Is she sleeping?" Uraraka asked as Yaoyorozu slowly shook her head.
"Kyoka doesn't sleep early," Yaoyorozu took the door handle and slowly creaked open the door, knowing Jirou didn't lock her dorm often. Peeking inside, the lights were off, the blankets slightly ruffled and the desk still cluttered. She didn't find Jirou though.
A clock on her nightstand read 7:15 however.
"It's 7:15! No wonder Hanta was texting me," Ashido panicked, knowing very well that the girls had taken too long to get ready. Ashido and Uraraka glanced at one another before running back toward the elevator.
Yaoyorozu stood at the door with a skeptical expression, finding a curling iron on her desk. Unknown to her, lay the blinking light from her phone just beyond the iron.
Kyoka doesn't use a curling iron often, does she?
"Momo!" Ashido called from the elevator before it reclosed. Yaoyorozu quickly shut the dorm door before meeting her friends.
