Juliane looks over at her husband. Her eyes scan over his features. The best six years of her life alongside the man of her dreams. She looks down at his lips, watching his mouth wrap around every word, but not hearing a word he's saying. The couple heading back home after an anniversary dinner out alongside their six month old daughter Morgan.

"Did you hear me?" she hears her husband Trevor.

"What? What were you saying?" she chuckles, her hand resting on the back of his neck.

"I was saying," he chuckles, "that my parents want us to come over for dinner next weekend since we haven't seen them in a while and of course, they want to see Morgan."

"Oh yeah of course. Whatever time works for them will work for me," Juliane smiles, yawning. "Thanks for dinner babe."

"You're welcome. Happy Anniversary," he smiles, leaning over and giving her a soft peck on the lips once they pull up to a stop sign.

Once arriving home, Trevor takes little Morgan out of the car. Juliane walking ahead to unlock the door.

"Oh my god," Juliane says softly.

"What?" Trevor asks, walking up before seeing the disarray in the house.

The couple sees tables overturned, pictures knocked off the wall, drawers pulled out with the contents scattered everywhere. Trevor walking past her with Morgan and up the stairs. Juliane walks around, seeing shattered glass but confused as nothing seems to be missing. Her thoughts are put to a halt as three quick gunshots ring out, causing a yell from Trevor.

"Trev!" Juliane screams, catching a glimpse of a shadow running out the backdoor.

"Call 9-1-1!" he screams from upstairs

Juliane manages to make the phone call before everything turns black.
