YAY 22: The First Challenge

Y/n's POV:

I woke up with an annoyed face.

Today's the first challenge. It makes me a bit nervous tho, Irene gave me some hard trainings last time when I went home. Mallow looked happy today. But sadly, I heard that Familiars can't go too. So she sulked...

"Hey, mallow. You can watch it tho. Just tell Nayeon to carry you.. if she'll uhh...approve." I said looking at Nayeon still sleeping.
"Don't be a burden alright?" I said as she jumped happily shrinking into a small baby then, jumped at Nayeon's bed waking her up.

I facepalmed, its still early.

"O-oh, Mallow. Aww...you look so cute!" She said smiling slightly while petting my familiar suddenly, her familiar came sulking. I smiled and went to the bathroom.

Our place is the Quidditch stadium. Many students are here already!

"Y/n, be ready." I heard Irene's voice inside my head.
"Why?" I asked, while walking in the changing room where I saw TOP and Chungha getting ready. I bowed and smiled as they both did the same as a sign of respect.

"Dragons...is the Challenge." She said before cutting off the telepath.
Dragons huh? This is gonna be hard.
Suddenly, Ms. IU and Headmaster Bang pd went in with a sack.

"Challengers, please gather." Ms. IU stated as we circled them.
"Pick a dragon inside this sack, and that will determine who you will fight." Bang pd explained.

Top and Chungha were first. They picked a Fiery Hornbill and Chinese fireball.

And, looks like lady luck is not on my side.

I picked the most nastiest of all, the Hungarian Horntail. Ugh, i hate this already.

3rd Person's POV:

While Y/n's waiting for her turn, TOP and Chungha were first so she had to wait.

Twice were watching by the stands, they were nevius and scared for their friend. Nayeon was holding Mallow who shrunk into a baby, she's paying attention to the fight waiting for Y/n.

Meanwhile, y/n's at the changing room fiddling with her fingers because of nervousness.
She would watch the fight from time to time but her nervousness grew.

"And now, here's Phoenix's representative and Friar's competitor Min Y/n fighting a Hungarian Horntail! The mission is to grab the golden egg for the next clue." The MC said, while Y/n is exiting her changing tent.

She saw crowds of students cheering for her. She saw Nayeon holding Mallow at her arms nodding at her.

Then, as she looked front, the door opened revealing the nasty Hungarian Horntail.

It roared so loud echoing and almost destroying the stadium.

Y/n looked at it scarily preparing to fight. Of course, who even want to fight this nasty creature alone?

Suddenly, the Dragon attacked her as she managed to dodge it, barely.

She hid at some rocks observing the battlefield.

How about if she use her super strength to kill the dragon? Or perhaps just injure it?

Her eyes glowed red then suddenly the rock broke because of the Dragon's tail.

'Its now or never.' She thought facing the dragon running it while her right fist is charging.

The Dragon noticed it and ran to her too, now they are running infront of each other.

When the dragon breathed out fire, Y/n jumped really high as the Dragon didn't saw her.

"I'm sorry..." she said telepthy to the Dragon before closing her eyes as her fist touched the Dragon's head breaking its skull, as well as the ground. She exhaled looking at the Dragon before grabbing the golden egg.

She approached the Dragon and puts her hand emitting a green light.

The creature looked at her as Y/n healed the injure Horntail.

After finishing it, the Dragon stood up. While Y/n closed her eyes expecting it to attack, but she didn't feel anything.

She opened her eyes revealing the Most Nastiest Dragon, bowing to her feet.

Then, roars of audience echoed the stadium because of Y/n's victory. Y/n looked at Nayeon as she nodded petting Mallow at her arms.

When she came back to the xommon room to rest, students cheered for her. She smiled and thanked them going straight to her bed.

She sighed before opening the drawer between their beds to grab the first aid kit to treat some of her bruises.

"What? Where is it--oww..." she complained feeling her arm hurt.
Suddenly, she saw Nayeon and her hand touching the wounds emitting green light. She's healing her.

"You did good, Y/n." Nayeon said looking at Y/n before smiling sincerely. While Y/n, looked at her surprised. Since, Im Nayeon. The coldest and the strongest in the whole school smiled at her.

She noticed that Nayeon didn't called her by her surname.

Nayeon mentally giggled then placed the first aid kit at the drawer before facing Y/n.

"Hey, Jihyo wants us to eat at the Great hall." Nayeon said plainly before leaving.

Y/n just smiled at Nayeon's cuteness before dressing up casual clothes and left going to the Great Hall to eat dinner.

While going to eat, students who see her woukd greet and squeal from time to time. She would just wave and smile at them.

She arrived and sat beside Nayeon and Mina who look shy.

"Yo, bro! Congrats!" Jeongyeon said while she and Y/n did their handshake.
"You did great dude!" Chaeyoung said as they did a handshake too, making some laugh at their cuteness.

"So, lets eat!" Momo exclaimed eating a jokbal.

Mina who is beside Y/n looked down spoke to her telepathy.

"Congrats Y/n." Mina shyly said.
"Thanks Minari" y/n replied eating some food.
"You were...g-great out there!" Mina exclaimed fiddling with her fingers under the table. Y/n looked beside Mina and smiled at her.

"Somebody's jealous.." Jeongyeon said nudging at Sana smirking.

"What? who?" Y/n asked clueless. While Nayeon glared at them.

"Shut up, or i'll sue you alive." Nayeon said telepthy at Sana and Jeongyeon. They shivered shutting their mouths up.
