Kylie's POV

I was just telling Elle about Henry and I kissing but I did not quite go into detail with her. I wasn't even sure if she heard most of my story because at some point while we were talking, it seemed like she was deep in thoughts. Maybe her parents had fought again and she was not emotionally okay. I felt so insensitive because I was darn excited and she probably felt that I was rubbing my excitement in her face, but I wasn't trying to.

That night was awesome, I remember every little detail that happened and how Henry and I decided to be friends with benefits.

I still did not understand why Elle refused to come with me to the party. It's really epic.

I danced to the music with my styrofoam glass that was filled with punch in my hand. I was having a chat with Spencer when he suddenly stopped moving and the music stopped playing as well. His eyes widened and were focused on something behind me. Everybody else turned and had the same mesmerized look that Spencer had.

I turned to look as well and everybody was looking at Emma who was coming down the stairs. Emma's dress really put her on the spotlight. It was really gorgeous and short. It was gold and it sparkled beautifully under the disco lights. Her cleavage was exposed and she didn't give a damn. She wore a huge grin, girl looked like she was happy to be turning eighteen. I know I would be just as excited. Miranda was filming Emma as she descended the stairs.

Everybody started applauding her and I just raised my glass to the air. Then I went to get more punch.

"Your dress is gorgeous." I said when I came across Emma who was acting like a celebrity that was being chased for autographs.

"I know." No wonder Elle doesn't like you.

"But thanks." She added and I smiled.

"Yours is not so bad too."

"Sure, thanks... I guess." What kind of a compliment was that? Anyway, I disappeared into the crowd and started dancing again.

My night was going so well until I spotted Tim. Suddenly I was enveloped by darkness and all my excitement had vanished. The atmosphere felt thick and I felt like I was breathing in venom. But it would not kill me, because I was strong beyond measure, I could handle anything that came my way.

He was coming in my direction and I just wished to magically disappear, why wasn't magic real?

Luckily, Parker started a conversation with him and Tim was not focusing on me anymore so that was my chance to run. I ran upstairs and when I got to the top of the stairs, I could finally breathe. I gulped down the rest of the punch and threw the styrofoam glass to the floor.

"Hey baby girl." Some drunk dude that I had never seen before tried to hit on me. I ignored him and as he tried to kiss me I pushed him but he was too strong for me. Then I kicked his balls out of reflex, and as he kneeled down, I left him there and looked for a room to hang in.

I guess I needed to think. I hated the fact that seeing Tim always opened up my healing wound, it was kind of hard avoiding him since we went to the same school and I should have known that he would be here. I mean, him and Emma were sort of family friends.

My throat dried up immediately, begging for me to go get more punch but I did not want to risk seeing Tim again so I would rather die of thirst. The room was dark so I switched on the light.

"I'm so sorry." I said to Henry that was naked and trying to get dressed. I put my palm on my face and said, "I'm so sorry, I thought nobody was here, I'm going to leave now." But I was tempted to look. I mean girls always talked about Henry's body and his "magnificent" dick so I wanted to see for myself.
