"My father told me to suck up and tell you this: I love-" Teagan stopped when she saw James' face, which looked like he was surprised that she was going to be saying those three words. Once she swallowed her pride she continued, "I love... I love that you did that for me. It really means a lot."
"Your welcome." He replied, he was a little bit disappointed that she didn't say what he thought she was going to say. "Let's get you back to your friends. I will see you in a few minutes, right?"
"Unless I suddenly get kidnapped and can't go to class.." Teagan looked at the lack of amusement on his face and laughed. "Yes, I will see you in class."

Teagan walked into class and saw that Fairy Godmother just ended the video call. She heard Jay say something to her and they started heading towards the door.
"You guys look like you had a successful talk with your parents." Teagan laughed. "Sorry, it's mean to laugh."
"It's okay considering that the whole thing turned into a freak show." Mal responded with a sigh.
Evie looked over at Mal and sighed with her hands on her hips, "M? What do you think our parents are gonna do to us? If we don't pull this off?"
"I think they will be quietly disappointed in us, but ultimately... Proud of us for doing our best."
"Really?" Carlos questioned, surprised as to what they were saying, but Teagan just laughed and replied with:
"No, I believe that we will all be goners." Teagan laughed. "But hey, at least we will be able to say that we were in Auradon."
"Thanks for reminding us, T, it wasn't like we never thought of that." Jay sarcastically stated. "Sorry, I'm feeling a little bit-"
"Scared? Defeated? Like at any minute we will be popped?" Teagan questioned. Her friends stared at her with a concerned look on their faces. "Was that a little too much? Sorry, I'm not very good at this 'supporting' thing."
"Nope. Not at all."
"Ha ha." Teagan fake laughed. "So, I have to get to my next class but I will see you guys later. I will meet you at the boys dorm room. I have to be there for James when his parents come today."
"But isn't Family Day tomorrow?" Carlos asked.
"Yeah, but we wanted to trick them into coming a day early so that James can be with them longer. I'll talk to his mom and he'll talk to his dad."
"Sounds like you'll be having a whole lot of fun."
Teagan huffed, "Yeah, it'll be a blast."
"Have fun, T." Evie laughed while lightly elbowing Teagan in the shoulder. Teagan rolled her eyes and started to walk away, which ended up with Jay following her.
"Why are following me Jay?" Teagan questioned her friend. She turned around and Jay hugged her tightly.
"Are you okay?" Jay responded. "I mean are you okay after talking to your father?"
"I am," Teagan smiled, "We had an amazing conversation and I would have loved for him to have been here for Family Day," she paused, "Well, I don't think that he would be wanted for Family day... considering that he's-"
"You don't have to explain it to me. I get it." Jay rubbed her arm and smiled. "So, do you want to go in there?" He pointed into her next classroom and all she did was nod.
"He knows that I care for him and I actually almost told him that I-" she paused to contain herself, "I was about to say that I..."
"Loved him?" Jay finished for her. "I know how hard it is for you to say that, and I know how much that guy cares for you-"
