Teagan pointed to the knife and started crying, "YOU WERE ABOUT TO KILL ME! At least I was trying to protect you! That's all I have been trying to do and you just continuously remind me that I hate this world, and I hate YOU."
And with that, Teagan teleported out of Granny's Diner, and back to her father's shop. He was currently doing some inventory when he saw his daughter out of the corner of his eye.
"Teag, how was-" He stopped himself when he heard a sniffle. He turned to her and gave her a hug. "What happened?"
"I can't take this anymore. Why does Baelfire have to be an asshole all the damn time! All I did was kill Tamara, and I did it for him!"
"Teag... People tend to not like it when their loved ones are killed." Mr. Gold responded. "Even when you're killing them for a reason. You know that better than anyone."
Teagan nodded her head and was about to say something else, but they both heard a knock at the door. They turned their heads and saw Emma and David standing there.
She snapped her fingers and the door opened, and she was ready to get arrested, but Emma surprised her and gave her a hug.
"I'll take the hug, but why am I not getting arrested?" Teagan questioned. "I thought Granny was going to tattletale on me or something."
"Oh, she did." David replied. "But Neal told us that Tamara was threatening his life, and you did it to protect him."
"I never thought I would see the day that he was backing me up." She stated. "I would think that he would like to see me rot in jail."
"That's not the Neal I know." Emma commented.
"Well the Neal you know is different from the Baelfire I know." Teagan replied. "He was willing to leave me behind and today he tried to stab me with a knife. Then again that wouldn't kill me, but still.. It all hurts the same."
"Even though we aren't arresting you, we want to bring you in for questioning." David said. "It's protocol, and I know-"
"Fine. If this will get everyone off my back then I will." Teagan responded. "Plus you all won't have to deal with me anymore after today. I'm leaving tomorrow."
"Why? I thought you don't want to leave your father." Emma told Teagan as they were walking out of the shop, Mr. Gold following behind them.
"I'm not leaving my father behind. He's coming with me, and I thought Bae was too, but after today, I don't think he can." Teagan commented. "I can't have a toxic relationship with him anymore. It isn't good for my own mental health, and I can't risk making it worse."
"You surprise me everytime I talk to you." Emma stated.
"I'm taking that as a compliment."

They all entered the station, and headed towards the interrogation room where Mr. Gold followed them too.
"Gold, what are you doing? You can't come in here with us." David told Teagan's dad.
"I'm her lawyer, so I will be coming in there with her." Mr. Gold responded with a little bit of attitude.
"She doesn't need a lawyer. She isn't being charged with anything."
"See, I don't believe you." Mr. Gold responded. "You will do anything for your daughter, so why can't I do the same for mine? Why doesn't anyone think that I will die for her?"
"Because you care more about your powers than anything, and don't even try to deny it. Even your daughter knows it."
"She knows that I love her, David." Mr. Gold stated. "I have always done everything in my power to keep her safe, to keep her from death, and I know that I haven't always done the best things, but I am doing everything for my children. You don't have to believe me, but," he pointed to Teagan- who is sitting down in the interrogation room, and smiled, "As long as she does, I'm happy."
