Teagan rushed outside and sat down on the ground to just cry. Baelfire didn't know anything about what she's gone through and he always seemed to jump to conclusions on everything.
"Teagan?" Henry whispered. "I thought you could use some company out here."
"I'm sorry you had to learn about your dad like that." She responded. "I was just so angry at what Bae had said, and I just said the first thing that came to my mind, and that just so happened to hurt everyone in that room."
"It's okay. I guess you're sort of my aunt, right?" Henry questioned. "I guess that could be cool. I will have a badass aunt."
Teagan laughed, "Well, I guess that I have a pretty cool nephew," she paused, "Your father was my whole world. I loved him so much and when he left us... I was heartbroken and I did some things that I am still not proud of, and I-" She sniffed, "I can't explain what I went through in the Enchanted Forest or even in Auradon slash the Isle."
"What even is Auradon or the Isle?"
"It's another place where fairy tale characters live." Teagan responded. "But Adam and Belle were King and Queen, so they decided to ship off the 'villians' to an island," she paused to compose herself, "And I came to Auradon in the middle of all of that, so I just missed the whole 'villains must go on the isle where they can't hurt anyone'. When they found me in the woods.. I was taken to the castle and the King believed that I was the daughter of Shan Yu-"
"But you're not Chinese..." Henry stated. "That doesn't make any sense, and plus you have magic."
"Yeah, but I apparently had the fight skills like that villain so the stupid King wanted to solve that problem, and he came up with an insane solution." Teagan laughed. "It's still ridiculous."
"I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that alone," he put his hand on her knee to calm her, "If it makes you feel any better, I never felt like I belonged in Storybrooke until my mother came back into my life."
"That's why I came here." Teagan responded. "I just thought that being with my father then my whole world would become meaningful again. Then when I saw Baelfire..... I wanted to believe that it was a sign.. I thought the world was finally giving me some type of happiness since they continue to take everything from me."
"What do you mean?"
"Henry? Teag?" Mr. Gold questioned as he walked out of the apartment building. He looked down at the two of them, and said, "Bae is looking for you Teag, and your mother is looking for you Henry."
"I don't want to talk to her! She lied to me about my dad!" Henry responded.
Mr. Gold huffed, but Teagan stopped him and turned to face the kid, "Look, sometimes parents do things that they think are right for their child. Yes, your mother lied to you about your father, but she just wanted you to think greatly of him. You can be mad at her all you want to, because you have that right, but at least look at it from her point of view."
"Fine." Henry replied as he got off the ground. He looked at his aunt and grandpa and questioned, "Are you two coming up with me?"
"Yeah, we'll be up in a second, Henry." Mr. Gold stated. "I just need to talk to my daughter."
"Alright." Henry responded with a smile, and with that, he walked into the apartment building.
"Are you still mad at me for what I did when we became Dark Ones?" Mr. Gold asked his daughter. "Because if you are.. Why wouldn't you tell me?"
"I didn't think that I was still mad." Teagan responded. "I thought that I had gotten over it, but seeing Bae, and then singing to Henry," she paused, "I get why you did it, but I was ready to die. You didn't need to sell my soul to some demon!"
