I rewrote this chapter five times, trying to get it perfect.
Enjoy.
Song Use Somebody by Kings of Leon^
"Addison Torres, report to the principal's office."
I heard half the class make a sound as all eyes were on me. I saw the teacher looking at me before motioning for me to go, which I didn't understand why I was being called there in the first place.
Grabbing my backpack, I slung it over my shoulder before walking out of the classroom. I was trying to think why Dylan was calling me to her office and for what reason.
It's not like I did anything wrong.
I don't ever get in trouble.
Shaking my head, I didn't let the thought get to me. It was probably nothing and I was just overreacting.
When I walked into the front office, I saw the woman behind the desk see me then nod towards the door. I slightly smiled at her before walking over to it then walking inside.
I saw Dylan sitting at her desk, then she looked up when the door shut behind me. "Hey, Addison." She smiles. "You're not in trouble."
"I figured." I chuckle as I stopped a few feet away from her desk. "Why am I here?"
"Your mom called and said she wasn't going to be home until midnight, and said Caleb was staying with a friend tonight." I nod as I continued to watch her. "So, she asked me to stay there with you tonight."
Staring at her, I slowly nod. "Oh." I really didn't want to be alone in my own house with her. "Can't Kyndra stay?"
She looked at me for a moment. "Do you not want me to stay there? I mean, I understand if you-"
"No, I'm sorry." I sigh. "I didn't mean it that way."
As she nods, she looks down at her desk for a moment. "Tanner will be at his dads this week anyways, so if you really don't mind me staying there with you tonight-"
"It's totally fine."
I saw her smile. "Ok. I'll see you when I get home, Addison."
"Ok." I slightly smile before she excused me and I left her office to get back to class.
This is going to be one hell of a night.

I was making a sandwich when I heard a knock on the door, already knowing who it was. I opened the door and saw Dylan standing there with a bag of clothes as she was smiling at me.
"Sleepover?"
Smiling, I opened the door more and watched as she walked inside. "I was just making a sandwich." I told her as I walked back into the kitchen and continued my sandwich making.
"Do you want me to cook something for dinner tonight?" Dylan asks as I was done making my sandwich.
After I put everything back up, I turned towards her then shrugged. "If you want. I have money so we can order pizza or something."
"Whatever you want." She smiles. "Your house, your rules."
I smile as I took a bite of my sandwich before sitting at the counter. I watch as Dylan did the same and sat across from me, taking out her phone.
After a few moments, I was done with my sandwich. I look over at Dylan as I grabbed my drink and took a sip from it.
"How long have ya'll moved here?" She asks.
