Ever since the moment he parted with Kongpob, M had been in a state of panic.

Kongpob had been apprehensive for as long as this meal had been going on.

The phone had been in his hand the entire time, and if he hadn't tried to suppress it, he would have lost track of how many calls he had made.

Knock-knock-.

The long-awaited knock at the door finally sounded and Kongpob's voice appeared, "M, it's me."

Although M had prepared a spare key for Kongpob in the beginning, he had thrown it in a drawer, never thinking to bring it.

The spare key to Kongphop's apartment, on the other hand, was properly hung up with M's own.

It wasn't at all difficult to see which of these little details was the one with the best of intentions.

But now it was clear that M didn't have the energy to dwell on that at all.

He hurried over to the door and opened it.

Outside the door was a hot and dry weather that belonged to July, but Kongpob's surroundings seemed to be lingering with a compelling cold air that made M shiver at the first sight of him.

This abnormality made him intuit that it was something to do with that man.

M's heart sank, and he asked off the cuff, "What's wrong? Didn't you enjoy your meal?"

Kongpob heard him ask and his emotions didn't subside, but he returned with a hard voice, "No, you didn't say you were looking for me Can I help you? What's going on?"

M moved out of the way to let him in first, before fidgeting, "I..."

He was so preoccupied with the fact that Kongpob was going out to dinner with Arthit that he really forgot what he had said and couldn't even make up a lie when it came to the matter.

At this moment, Kongpob's phone dinged and dinged.

M couldn't help but feel quietly relieved.

Kongpob saw the person who had called before finally taking two deep breaths and picking up in a softer tone, "P' Ple, just arrived home safe."

"Okay, see you next time then."

Seeing that he was about to hang up the phone, M hurriedly leaned in as if placing a bet and spoke to Kongpob, " Kong, he's a senior after all, so don't get mad!"

The people Kongpob was meeting with tonight were nothing more than those few people, and he guessed that Arthit was the only one who could make Kongpob come to him in such a constant state of anger.  (🙄)

Kongpob threw the phone on the bed, "What? Can seniors be disrespectful?"

M was quietly relieved.

Thankfully, he'd bet on the right guy, Kongphop was just angry at that guy.

Although he didn't know exactly what they had talked about, it was clear that Kongpob still knew nothing about their past.

"I'm afraid that if you do, he'll go even further in the future." M didn't know what was really going on and could only pick up some ambiguous words to persuade him.

"Oh? Are we just going to put up with it?" Kongpob's voice couldn't help but rise a little higher.

"But anyway, he's a senior!" M persuaded helplessly.
