This time, Kongpob wasn't as lucky as last time, when he woke up in a hospital bed, his side was already empty.

As soon as the fever subsided, the man became much more mobile, he got out of bed, left the room, and grabbed a passing nurse, "Excuse me, where is the man who came with me?"

"I haven't seen him for a long time, I think he left early. Hey, you better not come back by ambulance again, take the medicine you took this morning on time, if there are any signs of recurring fever, come back again on your own initiative. Using an ambulance twice due to cold is a waste of medical resources" The nurse lady was quite straightforward, he just asked a question, and she went on and on.

Kongpob only heard the first sentence, and his heart was already cold, how could he be bothered with the rest, so he only hurriedly thanked her.

He slept until nightfall, the hospital was coldly lit and full of strangers, standing alone in the middle of it, one could not help but feel a deep sense of loneliness.

When he went to look for Arthit, he was in a hurry and his phone was still charging at home. Kongpob rummaged through his pockets, but only found a few dozen baht in change left over from the taxi ride at noon.

Fortunately, the hospital was not far from his apartment, so the money was more than enough for a taxi.

Without the person whom he wanted to see as soon as he opened his eyes being around him, Kongpob's depressed mood was never relieved.

After telling Mr. Driver of his destination, Kongpob turned his gaze towards the vast night sky outside the car window.

There was no prosperous good scene near the school, just ordinary street lights and traffic, really nothing to see.

It was just that his mind was not focused on the scenery to begin with, whether it looked good or not, it didn't matter at all.

Every single word of what Arthit had said before he had passed out was still clear in his mind.

But the only thing that really bothered him now was that while he was pretending to be asleep, Arthit was chasing after the doctor to double-check his condition.

Maybe it was that he was still flustered, but if it was true that he didn't love him anymore, why would Arthit be that nervous about him having a cold.

But on second thought, with Arthit's character, even if he was just an ordinary friend, he would probably be very worried if he sent someone to the hospital after he had just learned that they had been seriously ill before. So all the fluke in his heart was gone again, and he was left with nothing but soreness.

After thinking back and forth like this for a long time, he felt his heart being hanged by a thread. In short, it never felt good at all.

And he also clearly remembered that Arthit ended up being dumbfounded by just one question from the doctor.

Kongpob realized with the latter's hindsight that even now, he hadn't properly spoken to Arthit about his condition.

His intention was not to play pity and beg for forgiveness in front of Arthit, but he forgot that his stubbornness still didn't really have much reverence when it came to Arthit.

He was determined to ask Arthit's forgiveness, to get back and reunite with Arthit, but all he had done was mostly something reckless that didn't give Arthit a shred of comfort.

If he wants to continue with Arthit, he seems to need to think about what it is that Arthit wants, too.

Thinking hard all the way back to his place, Kongpob realized that Tew was still there.
