Seeing the indifference in Arthit's eyes, Kongpob's heart couldn't help but twist into a ball.

But this time, it wasn't because of the loathing he felt.

After knowing all the truth, Kongpob finally realized that Arthit's hatred for him was just a shield to protect himself.

It was just that even this shield was fragile, why else would his eyes be so red?

Seeing him like this, Kongpob's chest was filled with nothing but heartache.

In his eyes, Arthit was someone worth protecting all his life, but now he was experiencing the storm, and it was all because of him.

If he had never met him, Arthit would have been the same arrogant, superior man he was, living without knowing what he was.

And yet Kongpob did not regret meeting him.

Though the thought was so selfish that it was hard for him to say.

Because of these messed up selfish thoughts,

Kongpob's heart felt even worse.

He ducked down, sat on the edge of the bed, and murmured in a low voice, "What can I do to make you feel better?"

Arthit looked at the man in front of him.

Kongpob had been in the hospital all night, and had only wiped his face on the faucet in the hospital bathroom. His lips were chapped and his face was pale, and he looked completely different from his usual radiant self. In fact, looking back, Kongpob has never looked so radiant in the recent past.

Arthit used to feel that he had been let down, and when he saw him, he would feel more resentment and hatred than any other emotions, but now when he thought that this person had already forgotten those times, he felt that these resentments were meaningless.

Arthit looked at him and replied in a low voice: "What's the point of talking about this now? Let's just be two strangers, give me back my keys, and you get out."

Kongpob's greatest fear the whole time was that he would draw the line, and in his nervousness, he rushed to Arthit's side and spoke anxiously, "Please don't ever say such a thing again, I don't want to be a stranger to you! If what I've done hurts you too much, I'll spend the rest of my life making you forget the pain, just give me another chance, okay? You...if you're angry, beat me up to take it out on me, but don't chase me away, just beat me up! Hit me!"

Kongpob was at his wit's end, and thinking of such a nonsensical solution, he actually grasped it tightly in his hand as a panacea as well, holding Arthit's arm and taking care of himself.

But he made Arthit even angrier with such behavior.

Arthit pushed him away and shouted, "Kongpob! Can you stop being so childish!"

Kongpob dropped to the edge of the bed and looked at him helplessly, looking more than a little embarrassed to hide the mess he was in.

He blinked away the tears that were almost ready to come to his eyes, "I...I didn't mean to do it, I just didn't know what else to do...Arthit."

Kongpob's nose was sore and the tears finally didn't stop.

They were two grown men, none of them lost the ability to cry.
