Valentine's Day

Things flew in a blur after Christmas and the second task was quickly approaching. But before that, it was Valentine's day.

"'ello Beautiful" Andre said, kissing me as he sat down next to me for breakfast.

"Hi" I said, melting from his accent. Foreign accents are still in my top 5 turn ons. After breakfast, we had plans to go to Hogsmeade. Once we were done we moved on to the carriages since walking through this snow would be miserable.  He sat down next to me and grabbed my hand while we talked about our plans.

"I see what you mean about winter being your favorite season. The way the snow makes everything look so pure...it's beautiful. Although it's freezing. Very very cold."

Andre laughed. "'Ery cold indeed. But the beauty is all that matters, and that's exactly what this is."

"It can't be very fun to paint though. It's just a bunch of white."

"But you 'ee, it's not just white. Zere 'es different shades o' white. Et 'ou must capture ze sparkle and the way ze sun shines on ze ground." Hearing Andre describe exactly how to paint snowy landscapes had me captivated. I could tell how passionate he was about this. I found myself leaning closer until our lips connected, taking him by surprise.

"Why did you do that?"

"Because you're amazing" I said with a shrug. He just smiled and continued to kiss me back.

We went to Honeyduke's sweet shop to buy two of every kind of fudge. We had decided to go to the Three Broomsticks and have a blind taste-test with the fudge we had just bought. There were seven kinds:

-Plain, Peppermint, Double Chocolate, Caramel, Vanilla, Raspberry, and Strawberry

"This one is definitely raspberry." I said with way too much confidence.

"I don't zink so. I zink it's strawberry." He said. He flipped over the label. "Strawberry"

I groaned. It was yet another I got wrong. "What's the score'

"So far 4/5 vs 5/5. I'm 'inning"

"Boooo" He ended up with 6/7 and I got 5/7. It was a really fun way to spend some time with him and warm ourselves up before our next adventure.

After a lengthy conversation, I decided I wanted to do something more active. I had found a lake near the shrieking shack one time, and, since it was frozen over, I wanted to go ice skating with Andre. I transfigured our shoes into skates and started gliding on the ice.

When I glanced over my shoulder, I saw that Andre was still standing on the bank. "Andre, what's up?"

"I am not used to...zis"

"You've never ice skated before?" He shook his head no. "Well come on, I'll teach you. First step is getting on the ice." I took his hand and led him out. He started stumbling, but eventually got better as everyone does.

We had gone a few minutes without falling, which was impressive for both of us. We had decided to hold hands now that there wasn't as high of a chance of falling as there used to be. Except we both got overconfident in our abilities. I fell first, and I ended up pulling Andre down with me. he landed on top of me, our faces inches away from each other. As we stared into each other's eyes, the laughing from our clumsiness died down and we began to kiss each other.

When we discovered that gloves and hats and winter coats make it hard to do anything, I suggested we head back. Andre quickly agreed and lead me to his dorm. Almost immediately I ripped off my coat, gloves, and hat. Andre did the same. He pushed me onto his bed and performed the locking and silencing charm on the door. He striped his shirt off, and well, I think you know what comes after this.

I walked back to Gryffindor tower with a smile on my face. I had tried to fix my hair and make-up, but my hair was unruly so it was hard. I found the twins playing exploding snaps in the corner of the common room.

"You look happy Mags" Fred smirked.

"Oh I am" I sent him a flirtatious wink as I sat down waiting to play the next round.

"I have to go to the bathroom" George grumbled. "You can take my turn Margaret" He walked off.

"Did he just call me Margaret?? Did I do something wrong?" I asked Fred. He never called me Margaret.

"He's probably just mad he didn't have a date for Valentine's Day" Fred said turning over two cards. Although he looked pretty concerned for his twin.

"Yeah, you're probably right" I decided I didn't care about George that day. I was so unbelievably happy with how it turned out.
