Apparently Dobby told Harry about this room of requirements at Hogwarts that can become whatever the seeker wants. That's a pretty cool use of magic, and I found myself fascinated by the room. George smacked me on the arm, causing me to finally tune back into the conversation after a little bit.

"It's like Hogwarts wants us to fight back" I hear Harry say. He's right. I think it gave us each a bit of confidence that this was actually possible. On paper, it seemed fat fetched: A bunch of kids being taught by a 15 year old how to cast spells and duel. But so far, everything seems to have worked in our favor.

"I think we should start with the stunning and disarming spells, since they're relatively easy but extremely useful. Does anyone want to demonstrate?" Harry asked. He was really getting into this teacher thing. I raised my hand to volunteer, since I had been pretty good at dueling back at Ilvermorny.

"Margaret, perfect. Anyone else?" harry surveyed the room but no one seemed to want to come.

"Oh come on, George. You scared? Don't worry, I'll only knock you back a few feet. You'll get some bruises at most." I knew he couldn't resist a challenge.

"Oh please. I can beat you with my eyes closed." He lined up opposite me. We raised our wands, and on Harry's command, began to practice.

Before anyone knew what happened, George was knocked backwards by a flash of red. "You might be able to beat me with your eyes closed, George, but you sure as hell can't beat me with your eyes open." I smiled as I walked over to help him up.

"But you didn't even say anything!" He looked shocked.

"It's a silent spell, George. We are in our NEWT levels. You can't perform a single silent charm?"

"I can, I just wasn't expecting that. It's a pretty powerful charm." I rolled my eyes and walked with him back to the crowd.

"Alright, thanks for the demonstration. Now split into groups of two and practice. I think it's a good idea for those in the higher levels to practice their silent spells like Margaret just did." At the mention of that I stuck out my tongue to George.

I had dragged Katie along with me because I knew the twins would partner up with each other. Alicia and Angelina came too. Lee was sick, so he missed this meeting. We practiced stunning and disarming each other with great success after a few tries. Looking around, others seemed to struggle a bit more. But Harry was helping everyone, which was really admirable.

Eventually Harry made his way over to the seventh years and suggested we try out more complicated spells or actually try dueling each other. Naturally, we all chose to duel.

"What do you say, George? A rematch? This time anything goes. I'll even let you get the first shot" I taunted.

"Don't go easy on me. I'm prepared this time." He said confidently before walking across from me. We took out our wands and, as I said, I waited until he fired the first spell. I quickly deflected it and fired one back. This went on for around 23 seconds before I successfully disarmed him.

"Well done Margaret."

"Thank you Harry" I smiled.

"I let you do that." George huffed.

"You did not and everyone around here knows it." I stared at him with my arms folded.

"Fine, you're right. You're damn good at dueling you know."

"I know." We continued to take turns dueling. I kicked everyone's ass.

By the end of the session, I was ecstatic. It was a great success and everyone learned a lot. Plus, it was a lot of fun. However, there was the small setback that Umbridge seemed to be onto us. Because earlier this week, she made a demand that all student organizations were disbanded until they got her approval. That's what led us to the room of requirements. But this was just another show of her growing power. Right now, Dumbledore was still headmaster and could ensure that she was following rules. I was afraid she would find a way around there and wreak havoc on the school. It was a horrifying thought.
