Umbridge Is Evil

Things at Hogwarts started to progressively get worse. Prof. Umbridge was named Hogwarts High Inquisitor and was given this crazy authority in the school. She had all these educational decrees posted right outside the great hall. It was infuriating. I hated that woman. I hadn't gotten into trouble with her again.

One day I heard this commotion as I was walking to the Great Hall. I quickly spotted my best friends as they are tall and ginger, and went to stand by them. That's when I spotted Prof. Trelawney sobbing in the middle of the courtyard.

"Please, you can't do this" she cried. I never took divination, so I never had her class. I heard she was kinda crazy, but I don't think that warrants getting kicked out of Hogwarts. "16 years I have lived and taught here. Does that mean nothing?"

"Sorry dear. But your evaluation was less than satisfactory, so I'm afraid you'll have to go." Of course. Umbitch. Just then McGonagall brushed past and went to comfort Prof. Trelawney. That's good, she really needed it. But it looked like no one could change Umbridge's mind.

"Something you'd like to say?" Umbridge directed at McGonagall.

"Oh, there are several things I'd like to say" McGonagall shot back. 10/10 for the comeback. Stellar. But I didn't have time to dwell on the superiority of my favorite Hogwarts teacher when Dumbledore stormed out of the castle.

"Minerva, please escort Sybill back to her room."

"Dumbledore, may I remind you that under educational decree..."

"You have the right to dismiss my teachers. But you do not have the power to banish them from the grounds. That power remains with the headmaster."

"For now" Umbridge growled. She was vicious, and obviously hell bent on controlling Hogwarts. I got scared-what more could she possibly do? I grabbed George's hand to comfort myself. He gave me a small squeeze.

"Don't you all have some studying to do?" I've never heard Dumbledore so aggressive towards students.

"He needs to watch his attitude. So does the pink she-demon over there." I said to the twins.

"You got that right."

We walked back into the castle, definitely not going to study.
