*George's POV*

I was eating breakfast. This would be the third day without any word from Margaret. Like always, I couldn't sleep when this happened. I stayed at the Burrow with my family, who comforted me. But they were all almost as worried as I was. My dad was constantly updating us about the ministry and how they're tracking the floo network now. I hoped she didn't travel by that anymore. I was in touch with Katie, who says she hasn't shown up to St. Mungo's either. And that there's death eaters there every day looking for her, so she shouldn't go back to work. Angelina and Alicia haven't heard from her, and neither has Tonks.

Bill arrived unexpectedly. He threw open the door and marched in. "She's back." Was all he said.

"Where is she?" I immediately responded, forgetting about the eggs sitting in front of me.

"At my house. I can take you there now. Who's coming?" Fred and Ginny stood up with me. We wasted no time in disapparating to Bill's new house. I ran through the door and found her in the kitchen helping Fleur clean up. I swept her up into hug and spun her around.

I started kissing all over her neck and face. "damn I've missed you" I said. This just caused her to laugh. It was like music to my ears. Then I noticed when I placed her down she only stood on one leg; there were crutches leaning up against the counter. "What happened?"

She explained the story to everyone once she greeted Ginny and Fred. "That's it. You're never leaving the flat ever again." I said.

"Actually, George. I'm staying here. No one would expect me to be here. I'm safer here, and so are all of you since you're not hiding me. Your houses are probably being closely observed in hopes that Harry or I show up. I talked about it this morning with Bill and Fleur." She said.

"Fine, then I'm staying here with you." I stated. It was not a question. I'm not letting her out of my sights.

"Same" Fred said.

"George, Fred, no. You have a joke shop to run. That shop could make people's day. It's important that you're there. Plus, if you go then you can show the death eaters that you don't know where I am. You'll be safe too." she argued back.

"Margaret's right. You'll be safer at the shop. You can visit and stay the weekend if you'd like." Bill said. I can't argue with him.

"Fine. We'll visit Sunday and Monday. Saturday is our busiest day at the shop, so if we want to appear normal we can't close then." I said. It would have to do. I still don't like the idea of leaving her, but Bill and Fleur's house is secure.

"Can one of you tell everyone that I'm safe? Angelina, Alicia, and Katie shouldn't know where I am, but it's probably safe to tell Tonks." Margaret said. She's so considerate of her friends. She loves them more than she loves herself.

"I can do that." Fred said. "C'mon Ginny. I'll take you back to the Burrow." With that they left.

"I'll go grab your stuff. Be right back." I kissed her on the forehead and left to go back to our flat. It's going to be different not sleeping in the same bed as her every night. My mom still doesn't know that we do that. She has nightmares a lot too. I wonder how she's going to deal with them if I'm not there. I guess the same way she deal with them before moving in with me. Still, I hate not being there for her.

Before I left, I grabbed a few more things. I took a box to gather all her pictures. The blanket we used the first time we told each other. The basket that I carried all the food in. I added some food as well. All her favorites. Then I checked one more time to see that the ring was still in my pocket. We might be young, but I'm not letting her get away from me again. I'm going to lock her down.

*Margaret's POV*

After George left, I sat alone on the couch while Fleur went to finish the kitchen.

"You know, if you disappear one more time George will lock you in a basement." Bill said.

"That hasn't stopped me before." I replied, remembering my escape from Voldemort.

"Then he will handcuff you to him. I'm serious. He's a mess whenever you leave. He'll die by the age of 25 with all the stress you give him." Bill joked. I realized I had placed him under a lot of stress. I felt bad, but none of it was my fault. Really, it all started with my grandmother. But I don't blame her. It's society that's at fault. We should really teach boys that girls aren't objects to possess and boys should lets girls live their own lives and make their own decisions. Because it's not only Voldemort that acts like this.

"That'd be a taste of my own medicine then." I laughed with Bill.

"I'm going to go help Fleur, but when George gets here tell him you guys can stay in the same room. I'm not my mom. I know what young couples get up to." With that he added a wink and left the room, chuckling to himself.

I rolled my eyes and went to shower. When I got out, George was already unpacking. "I'm thinking we have a picnic tonight like we used to. What do you say?" George asked. "Sounds amazing."

That night I hobbled out to the cliff with George to watch the sunset. We ate a delicious meal consisting of all my favorite foods. "Damn, this hits different after two days of plants." I said. George just rolled his eyes and stuffed more strawberries in my mouth.

It was beautiful outside Bill's house. The ocean was calm and a vibrant blue, which contrasted the lush green grass of the cliff. The sunset provided warmth to the cool colors as orange and red overtook the sky.

"Mags, have I ever told you how much I loved you?"

"All the time, George. Usually after I almost die, but still." I probably wouldn't have made that joke if I knew what was going to happen next.

"That's true. But I mean it when I say it Mags. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. You find beauty in all my flaws. You turn a bad situation into something good. You're supportive and loyal to those you love. You're also tough as nails. You're willing to admit you're afraid of many things, with good reason. But with that comes the strength to overcome those fears, which you do everyday. You never let people walk all over you. I still think about the day you said 'I respect people who deserve respect' to Professor Umbridge." My hand instinctively went to the very visible scar on my left hand. He reached out and grabbed it. "I hope I deserve your respect, Mags. But more importantly, I hope I deserve your love and your heart. Because you are caring and kind and a mixture of everything I aspire to be. I know you think we're too young but..." He went digging in his pockets for what I know had to be a ring.

"Well shit, George. If I knew this was happening I would've worn something a little nicer." I was wearing pj shorts and an oversize sweatshirt with only a bra underneath. Also, I wish I didn't always have to ruin serious situations with a joke. I can't handle serious conversations and always need to lighten the mood. The good news is, George is a light-hearted, laidback person.

"Mags, you'd look good naked." He winked. "But seriously, Margaret Anne Hughes, will you marry me?"

"yes George!" I practically leaped on top of him.

"Let me put the ring on you first." I held out my left hand.

"What does your mom think about this?" I asked him. I know she would probably think this is young.

"She's the one who gave me the ring. She says we're a bit young, but love is love." Once he was done putting the ring on my finger, he used a spell to make it fit perfectly. We shared a kiss to seal the deal.

"What do you say we take it back to our first time, eh? It's the same blanket." George suggested.

"George Weasley, you are just full of good ideas tonight."
