*A/N: sorry for this sort of filler chapter but I didn't know what to write since a lot of half-blood prince it all hogwarts and well obviously they don't go there anymore*

It was much harder staying in touch with all my friends now that we don't go to school together. But we made it work. I saw Katie every day at St. Mungo's. We would eat lunch together and everything, just like at Hogwarts. I even took a picture of us in our uniforms on my first day for my photo wall.

"Mags, guess what I just had to deal with." Katie came sprinting across the lunchroom.

"What? I've been stuck in the development center." I said. The development center is where all the healers come up with treatments to counteract any injury or magical malady that gets brought to St. Mungo's. A lot of times we either produce potions we already know work or we try to think of new solutions when nothing seems to be working. I find myself there a lot since George told them about the potion I made my last year at Hogwarts. I was working with a more experienced healer to create a potion to counteract some weird animal attack. We're still not sure what happened.

"There was an attack at Hogwarts!" Katie said.

"What? An attack at Hogwarts?" I was concerned, that can't be good.

"Well, not really an attack. But I'm sure you remember that Gryffindor girl that was a year below us. She had straight blonde hair and was always dressed up?"

"Oh yeah, I vaguely recall her."

"Well, apparently she got cursed by some necklace that she was bringing to Hogwarts after a trip to Hogsmeade."

"No way, really? How bad is the curse?"

"It's pretty bad. According to Snape, she barely grazed the thing with her hand. To think, this could've been any of us! Plus, there were signs that she was under the imperius curse."

"Did you get to work on her?" I asked. I wanted as many details as possible.

"No, but I was assisting on the person in the next bed over so I heard a lot of it. Of course, if it were you they'd probably call you in to help. After all, you're bloody brilliant. You get all the cool stuff and already have the authority to create new treatments. Meanwhile I'm stuck on paperwork and the most basic spell reversals."

"It's only because I made that potion last year that I get to help create new treatments. Plus, I worked with Madame Pomfrey for two years and before that I worked with the healer at Ilvermorny. So, they let me skip a year of residency."

"See what I'm talking about? You're amazing."

"Oh shut it Katie. You are too. Now tell me about this cursed student."

Often times Katie and I would meet up with Alicia and Angelina at a cafe on one of our days off. I saw Alicia the least out of the three, since Angelina was still dating Fred I would see her at the flat sometimes.

Angelina is playing professional quidditch. Right now she is just a reserve chaser, but she gets some playing time since injuries are so common. I bet that in the next year she won't be reserve anymore.

Alicia is working for the Ministry in the misuse of muggle artifacts office, which is where Mr. Weasley worked. She seems to really be enjoying her job.

We try to meet up once every two weeks to catch up. While I would consider Fred and George my best friends at Hogwarts, my dorm mates still meant a lot to be. They were still some of my best friends. They helped me through a lot and we always had advice for each other.

"All of you got cute Hogwarts guys and I'm still single." Katie huffed. "Why couldn't Lee have a twin for me?"

"Katie, you're beautiful and talented. There's going to be someone out there for you. Besides, we already took all the best Hogwarts boys. There really were no good ones left." Alicia said.

"Oh, I know!" Angelina piped up. "We should all set Katie up with blind dates. I know plenty of cute quidditch boys. Not t mention there's a few people who work on the sidelines that I know of."

"That's brilliant, Angelina. Katie, you have to think there's at least one cute healer at St. Mungo's." Katie started blushing at my statement.

"Then it's settled. We will all pick one or two people for Katie and set them up on dates." Alicia said, sipping her tea.

"I already have someone perfect picked out. You can go on a date with mine next Friday." Angelina said, already planning their wedding.

"Fine, mine will be that Saturday." Alicia said.

"You can go on mine Sunday then. Are we planning the dates too or just setting them up?" I asked.

"We'll plan them. This will be fun. I hope you like at least one of them Katie or that'll be depressing." Angelina said.

I met Tonks last summer during an Order meeting. We quickly grew to be very close friends. She's hilarious and always brightens up the room. She works as an auror for the ministry.

"Tonks, what if I dyed my hair? I feel like I need a change." I said while looking at myself in the mirror one day.

"Dye it like blonde or a fun color? I vote lime green to match your St. Mungo's uniform." I glared at her.

"Absolutely hilarious. I'm thinking purple or maybe blue. Of course, I could dye it pink and match you."

"There's a simple way to see." She morphed into me and started changing the colors of her hair.

"Oh I like that one." I said, stopping her when she reached a pink-ombre one. "We can match now."

She morphed back into her usual look. "Do you know the spell?"

"Nope, but I kind of want to do it the muggle way. Where you get dye all over yourself and it turns out to be a disaster anyways and you have to go to a salon to get it fixed. It sounds like more fun than just casting a spell."

"I agree. Let's go"

As I thought, it was a disaster. Neither Tonks or I are the most graceful presence and we ended up getting dye all over ourselves. We used a charm to get make my hair blonde instead of bleaching it because knowing us we'd give ourselves chemical burns. I look horrific as a blonde. But the actual result turned out pretty well.

"Look at us." Tonks said. We both had pink hair to match the pink dye that stained our forearms and shirts.

"Complete disasters, just like always." I laughed as I snapped a few pictures of us. I definitely wanted to commemorate this moment.

"What happened in here? It looks like you killed something." Fred said as he walked into the bathroom.

"Nice hair, Mags. George, get in here! Your girlfriend and Tonks have destroyed our bathroom giving themselves a makeover." He yelled.

"Bloody hell what happened in here? Do neither of you know how to use scourgify?" George examined the sink. Based on the amount of dye we got on it, it would be better just to paint it pink. But we're wizards so a simple spell can fix it.

"We haven't gotten to that part George. I just dried my hair. Clean up comes after." I said. He still hadn't noticed my hair was now pink.

"Woah Mags. I like the hair. It looks good. If only next time you didn't destroy the place, then it'd be perfect." I rolled my eyes and casted scourgify to clean up the mess.

"Is that better, your highness? Now, I'd love to stay but Tonks and I are starving and no one here can cook for shit. So we'll be back with some food."
