American Teen [George Weasley Love Story]

The DA is done

Umbride is hell bent on finding out what the DA is. She doesn't know our names or where we meet, but she seems to be aware that a group of students are going against school rules and meeting up for a secret club. She started a round of questioning. A lot of members got pulled in. I estimated I would be questioned soon, but she never had to go that far.

We were all just reviewing spells we had learned, making sure we mastered them. There was a light-hearted atmosphere as people joked around. But that was quickly shut off when Dobby suddenly appeared and warned that Umbridge was coming.

"Everyone GO! SCATTER! DON'T TRY TO GO BACK TO YOUR COMMON ROOMS" Harry yelled. And with that, we sprinted.

Some of us were a lot fitter than others. George, Fred, and I were at the front of a pack. I started pulling people into a secret passage way, but had to close it off as I saw Malfoy and his goons approaching. I just hoped everyone would find a way to get out. This was one of the passageways that leads out of the school, so if Malfoy was still out there, we were trapped. I instructed everyone to go back further in the passage so that they were covered by the darkness. I would step out and see if the coast was clear.

I was unlucky, Malfoy had seen where the passage was and was waiting just outside. But I expected this, and was able to stun him and his friends. Then I cast the obscuring charm on them, and told everyone else to go back to their common rooms. George led the Hufflepuffs through passages, since he was an expert on sneaking to the kitchen which was located next to the Hufflepuff common room. I led the Ravenclaws. Fred led the Gryffindors. There were no Slytherins in the club.

I made it back to the Gryffindor common room and saw Fred waiting for me on one of the couches.

"Everyone good?"

"Yup. Is George back yet?

"No, but knowing him he probably took the time to get a snack from the kitchens."

"I hope he brings us some-I'm starving."

He did bring us some chocolate, which was amazing. We sat there for a while talking about the future of the DA and the school. We talked about everyone that we saw was safe. Happily, Fred saw Katie and the rest of my dorm mates arrive a few minutes after he did.

Luckily, everyone who made it into the passageway was able to get back to their common room with no problem. However, I'm positive at least a few people got caught. Umbridge had recruited as many people as possible for this capture. I regretted not separating from Fred and George because our knowledge of the school would've been beneficial to anyone.

"Well, as exhilarating as this day has been, I'm going to sleep." I kissed George goodnight before making my way up to my dorm. I prayed that the punishment for those who got caught wouldn't be incredibly severe. Little did I know, something a lot worse was coming.
