A Day With the Fam

"Hello fam!!! It's me!!" Julius yells as he comes through the sliding glass doors seeing his family happily enjoying breakfast. Now that he and Stef were on speaking terms again he had to admit life was looking brighter. Their rift had gone on for weeks to the point Julius couldn't even remember why he was so hurt. But the fact that they talked, had cleared the air and they both vowed to not let anything come between them again. Ever.

"There's the man of the hour!" Tess smiles widely and Julius engulfs her in a big hug.

"Tessy!! Looking good as always! How's my little family?" He squeals as he looks around the kitchen.

"We are good. Saved you a seat as always!" Tess smiles as Julius walks over to the table hugging Stef from behind and planting a kiss on her cheek.

"Hola, mama!"

"Hey there, my love. I didn't know you were stopping by."

"As if I need an invitation! A little birdie told me that Tessy and Stefanie were in town, and I thought I'd surprise you, all. SURPRISE!" He smiles his widest as Callie rubs her temples, looking greener than ever.

"Now that I'm deaf in one ear, why don't you grab yourself a plate of food, Jules and eat with us," Stef smiles as Lena jumps to her feet.

"I'll get it for you, love."

"Oh, nonsense! I have two working hands!" He waves as he saunters over to the stove to pile his plate high with pancakes, bacon and eggs. As Callie watches it makes her feel sicker then ever.

"I think I should make more coffee," Tess stands to her feet as well as Julius pushes his glasses up his nose and rolls his eyes.

"Oh good god! You'd think I was a cripple! You, ladies, let me make my way around this kitchen!" Julius floats around the kitchen as he makes a new pot of coffee, before sitting across from Callie. "So, what's on the agenda today? I know you, Steffy. You always have to have family time when Tessy is in town."

"Smart man," Lena laughs as she squeezes Stef's knee under the table. Her wife had somewhat calmed down, but Lena knew that she was exhausted as it was very prevelant to her. Lena was just hoping Callie would be ok and not raise eyebrows. But considering she barely touched her breakfast it might be a bit of a challenge.

Looking back at her wife Stef smiles as she grabs Lena's hand in her own and squeezes it as she looks at her.

"We actually are headed to the beach. The kids want to surf, and we're going to make a picnic lunch and just make a day of it. Wanna come? I mean that's what you're waiting for, right? An invitation?" Stef laughs softly as Julius grins from ear to ear. Lighting a smoke she knew him all to well and it was rather amusing.

"Ohhhhhh! Fun in the sun!" He squeals once more as Callie looks at her uncle frowning.

"Uncle Julius, do you have to yell everytime you talk?"

"Callie," Lena frowns as the girl looks down at her plate. Stefanie had insisted that the girl pile her plate with pancakes, but just staring at the butter swimming with the syrup was enough to make her stomach lurch.

"Sorry, but he is loud," Frankie comes to her rescue not wanting Stef to notice and thankfully she had not yet as she is chatting with Tess.

"Well, arrest me and throw me in jail. Didn't realize I was in a houseful of a bunch of PMS'ing women!" Julius waves his hand around as Corey bursts into laughter.

"Hey now I resent that." Tess says as Lena shakes her head at the dramatic man along with Stef.

"Oh my god, Uncle Julius! You didn't just say that!" Stefanie looks at him, horrified as Frankie rolls her eyes.
