Chapter 94

Mallory's POV

We finally came to a stop. I got off from my bunk and ran to dad. I saw him sitting on the couch sleeping. I ran and jumped on his lap.

"What the Ffflip" he said

"Where are we?" I asked

"New York City" dad said

"Is this where your first show is?" I asked

"No, are first show is in Nashville. We're here because we're going to a special event" dad said smiling

"What isssss itttt?" I whined

"You'll see" dad said

"It's 6 pm, it's up to you guys if you want to wait in here till it's closer to the time or start heading out" the driver said

"Are you coming with us?" I asked

"No sweety, I'm gonna FaceTime my parents and friends" she said

"Oh okay" I said

"Let's wait an hour and then head out" dad said

~ 1 hour later ~

"Let's go!!" Kian shouted

Dad came up to me and picked me up.

"I can walk dad" I said

"But it's really crowded and you will get lost easily and I don't want anyone taking you" dad said

With that, I gripped into his shirt and we headed out of the bus. Dad grabbed Sarahs hand and intertwined their fingers. We waited for everyone else and I said bye to the bus driver and we all headed to this thing.

"Hey, Connor I can hold on to Mal when it comes to the time, so you can do your thing" Sam said smirking

"Haha alright, thanks man" dad said

"What thing?" I asked

"This thing" he said while kissing my cheek

"Ohhh" I said kissing his cheek back

Sam and the others just laughed

We got to the spot and dad was right. It was packed. So many people were there.

Dad put me down, but grabbed my hand straight away.

"I got her" Jc said taking my hand

Dad nodded and turned to Sarah. Jc picked me up and faced me towards Lia.

"Haiii Lily" I said

"Heyyyy Mally" she said

We played junk and Po and we played I Spy and all other things we could think of.

I felt bad for Kian because Andrea couldn't be here or Jenn.

"What is this place and why are we here?" I asked Jc

"This is Time Square. We count down the time to midnight. When that ball reaches the top, it means it's the new Year" Jc said

"Ohhh" I said even when I still didn't get it

"You still don't get it do you?" Jc chuckled

"Nope" I said laughing

"We're here to count down the time till the New Year comes" he said

"Ok, that's all you had to say" I said

"Alright" Jc said chuckling

A few hours passed and we were sitting down and I was sitting on Ricky's lap because he was making a vlog.

"Mal are you having fun???" Ricky screamed

"I LIKE MANGOS" I yelled

"Yup, that's the Mallory I know and love" Ricky said to the camera

I laughed and slapped his face softly.

"Well okay then" Ricky said. Then he shut off the camera.

"Your done?" I asked

"Nope, just waiting for the big finish" he said

"The ball?" I asked

"Yessiri. Are you excited? He asked

"Yeahhh Jc kept telling me about it and it seems exciting" I said

"It is" Ricky said

~ 59 mins later ~

Sam picked me up and put me on his neck. Kian went next to Sam and leveled up with me since I'm short and tiny and Trevor was on the other side.

Sam was holding my legs so I wouldn't fall and Kian was holding my left hand while Trevor was holding my right. Ricky was in the back of us recording what was happening.

"Ready to countdown 10-1?" Kian screamed since everyone was loud

I nodded my head in excitement.

"Ready to count down Mal!" Trevor screamed

"10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" Everyone screamed and fireworks started popping everywhere. It was beautiful.

I saw dad kiss Sarah... But not on the cheek and I saw Jc kiss Lia. Ewww.

Sam took me down from his neck and hugged me tight and kissed my cheek.

"Happy New Year Mal!" Sam shouted

"Happy New Year Sammy!" I said back

Then Kian did the same, then Trevor, then Ricky, Lia, Jc, Sarah, and finally Dad.

He picked me up and he hugged me and Sarah together and they kissed my cheeks at the same time and Kian took a picture.

We started heading to the bus and we finally got in. I sat on the couch in between Sam and Kian and leaned my head on Kians chest and my legs on sam since they were close together.

Then we watched the TV they had on the bus. We all laughed and told jokes. We were having so much fun! I can't even describe how thankful I am to have this family.
