Chapter 87

Cameron's POV

What in the world does this 7 year old think she's doing. I sprinted to the boardwalk and called the others on the way which was harder than you think.

I finally reached the boardwalk and was sprinting to the end where Mallory was. Once I reached her, she jumped.

Mallory's POV

I wanted to just get away from here, so I ended up going the boardwalk. I was gonna jump off and never come back up. It's not that I don't love the guys and girls, it's just..... I don't know what to do.

I closed my eyes and jumped, but I felt two pair of arms around my little body pulling me back. That person cradled me and started to cry. I looked up to see Cameron and I cried into his chest.

Let me tell you why I acted this way.

Being in a coma for months and months with a person makes you grow closer. Especially when that person is related to you and actually cared about you.

Eric. Eric is the reason.

He didn't tell me to end my life. He told me do great things and that he'll never forget me.

When I was sitting on the couch, I saw Eric outside in the backyard. Except, their was a dark figure next to him. Eric was talking to me and I could hear him perfectly. It's like he was in my mind.

Flash Back

"Mallory, can you hear me?" Eric asked

I was staring right at him

"Yes" I said in my mind

"What are you doing here? I thought you were visiting on Christmas" I said

He looked disappointed.

"Look Mal, something has gone wrong here on the other side. I'm gonna be going away.... Forever. I won't be able to see you till the day your life ends. I want you to do great things and I will never forget you" he said while slipping a tear

"S-so you-you're leaving?" I asked

He nodded his head

I stood up and backed away till I hit the wall.

Someone asked me what was wrong, but I ignored that person and ran to my room.

Once I reached my room, I locked the door and turned around to see Eric. I ran and hugged him. I don't know how long we were hugging, but I heard pounding on my door and shouting, but I ignored it.

Eric started fading and he held my hand. Then someone picked me up and he was gone.

I yelled and ran out the door. I know what I need to do to be with Eric.

End of Flash Back

I heard a lot of footsteps running towards us. Cameron picked me up and everyone surrounded me giving me hugs and kisses.

Then dad hugged me tight and after a while I pushed away and went to Matt. He picked me up and I rested my head in his shoulder and ignored all the questions being thrown at me on what just happened.

"Guys! Well let her rest and she can explain tomorrow okay?" Matt said

Everyone nodded and we were walking back to the car I guess and that's when I fell asleep.
