She picked up the cutleries and tried to avoid Steve's gaze but he kept staring....
"Hellooo..i'm trying to be comfortable but you're just making me miserable, having those dice spots of yours on me", she snapped....
"Now how did you know I was staring, if you weren't stealing glances?", he asked....
"Ugh! you just enjoy freaking me out!", She spat...
"Can we just eat in peace", he said as he started eating....
"Can we talk now?", She asked while they were eating...
"Seriously? don't you have manners?", He asked...
"Look we really need to talk....I mean you need to fill me in i'm totally lost in what's going on...." She looked away...."p-pl-ease?", She forced the word outta her mouth....
"Alright", he muttered, pushing his plate aside and placing his attache case on the table, he flicked it open while she stared at the gems, pop-eyed....
"Wh..where did you get those from?", She asked, surprised...
"Where do you think I got them from?", He asked in return...
"And don't tell me it's what i'm thinking", she gasped in a low tone...
"What're you thinking?" He asked...
"You...you raided those museums?I mean its in the news...the gems were stolen by the Shadow Hunter...wait! You're the shadow Hunter???", She gasped, trying not to be loud....
"Well...?", He queried
"Oh my God...I'm dreaming", she said, pinching herself...." YOU FUCKING WORK FOR MY FATHER!!!",😱 She was horrified....
"Why did you steal them?", She asked..........
"Yeah kid...why did you steal them?", A fierce looking man chimed in as he stood up from his seat, close to where they dined.....
Closing the attache case, Steve held it firm as he glared at the man....
"Look here ma'am, you're involving yourself with an international criminal.....not too smart after all", the man smirked at Steve, who stood up, clenching his fist ....
"Hey, hey ,hey you don't wanna hurt the mothers and children in here do you?", The man asked, mockingly...."just hand over the gems",...
"This isn't real....this is absurd!!", Lisa pondered as she stared at the man and then back at Steve, confused....
"Listen ma'am, you either be on our side and be safe or side with this criminal and rot in hell!!", He scowledd at her....She jerked up and glowered at both of them....
"I'm so confused....I need to go home...", She replied, almost leaving....
"Hey!", Steve called out as she shoved it aside and was about walking away...."don't leave...", He muttered....
She paused and turned to stare at him ...."else you're gonna shoot me?", She flared....
"You're the Hunter?....took me a second without the hood, coat and mask", the man chuckled...
"You found me.....well too bad, finding and catching aren't the same thing", Steve said as he called out to Lisa who was almost descending the stairs...she turned to face him.....but he pulled out a pistol and shot her, caught her as she was about to fall , then dashed to the window, broke it and jumped down to the amazement of others.
"He musn't escape!!", The man yelled at his backups who dashed to the window and stared down....
"Sir! that's a dead end, I doubt he'll survive", one of them shrieked, staring down again....as they were 100 feets above the ground....
"He's the Hunter!!! He'll survive!!!", The man growled angrily as people shrieked, running out of the hall frightened about what happened......
