Grizz's POV
"Shouldn't you be getting home to your girlfriend?" Luke threw the football towards Grizz, and he caught it with a disinterested shrug. "Uh oh, trouble in paradise?"

Grizz wasn't one to gossip or air out all his dirty laundry, even if it was to his best friends, but everything with (Y/N) had been so tense lately, and he wanted to unleash all of his frustrations.

"Maybe," he shrugged and tossed the football to Jason, grabbing another beer from the case in the middle of the circle they had made. "I feel like she's hiding something from me."

"Why's that?" The boys looked surprised because they had always assumed Grizz's relationship was perfect. He had never let on that anything was ever wrong.

"She's spending a lot of time with Harry lately. Like, a lot. More than me." He realized that he just sounded jealous and shrugged again. "I don't know, I mean they are friends so I guess it's not weird but I'm still mad about it."

"Maybe you should talk to her," Clark suggested. Grizz nodded, taking a long drink from his beer. It was his fourth one of the night and usually he was the responsible one, so Clark tried to take the can from his hand. "And maybe you should cool it on the beer."

"Why? You guys drink way more than me," Grizz said, pulling away from Clark. "I'm fine, it's not like I'll be busy tomorrow and can't have a hangover."

The boys knew better than to argue with him and watched him get progressively drunker as the night wore on. When they finally decided to go home, Grizz was slurring and stumbling as they grabbed their stuff.

"Why don't you stay with me tonight?" Jason grabbed his elbow to steady him, but Grizz snatched his arm out of Jason's grip.

"I'm fine," he said. "I just want to sleep in my own bed."

He walked ahead of the group and Luke pulled Jason back. "I don't think he should go home and be alone with (Y/N). He seems like an angry drunk and I don't want him to do something he'll regret."

Jason shrugged and kept a close eye on him. "We can't force him to stay out of his own house. We can just check on them later," he suggested. Luke still didn't think it was a good idea, but he knew they couldn't make Grizz do something he didn't want to do, especially in his current state.

Your POV
Yawning, you sat up and stretched, glancing at the clock to see what time it was. You didn't remember falling asleep, but your eyes widened when you realized you were on the couch and Grizz wasn't with you.

"Harry," you said, kicking him from his position on the ground. "You need to leave. Grizz will kill you if he knows you slept here."

"I really hate that you're dating him because before you would let me sleep wherever, whenever I wanted," he grumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"Yes, I'm horrible for finding someone that makes me happy. Now go," you ushered, shoving his jacket into his arms and steering him towards the door.

You reached for the knob, but felt it turning in your hands, the door opening to reveal Grizz. He took in your disheveled appearance, and his eyes hardened when he saw Harry standing behind you.

"Hey baby," you whispered, but Grizz shoved you aside and pushed Harry so he was pinned up against the wall. "Woah, Grizz, calm down!"

"What do you think you're doing here?" Grizz was inches from Harry's face and you were desperately tugging on his arm to get him away. "You have about two seconds to run, or I swear I'll kill you."

Harry, your fearless best friend, looked absolutely terrified as he squeezed past Grizz and out the door. You closed the door and glared at Grizz who was giving you an equally stony expression.

"Are you going to give me a chance to explain or are you going to go crazy and start screaming?" He scoffed and shook his head.

"I knew it, I knew you were cheating on me," he slurred and you looked taken aback, both at his drunken state and his assumption that you would do that. "Don't look at me like that."

"We fell asleep Grizz. I was helping him with problems he was having with Kelly, and we got tired I guess." He rolled his eyes, and you crossed your arms in annoyance. "Plus I didn't want to be here alone, you know I hate that. So he offered to stay until you came back. I didn't know you were partying."

"Honestly (Y/N), you must think I'm an idiot! If you didn't like me you could've just told me instead of sneaking around with Harry behind my back!" His voice kept raising as he walked closer to you, and you shrunk back against the wall.

"I love you," you whispered, but he cut you off, continuing to talk.

"No you don't! Because then you wouldn't be cheating on me!" You opened your mouth again to say something but watched in horror as he raised his hand. "Just shut up!"

"Grizz!" Luke pulled you away from him as Clark shoved him back. You clutched Luke's shirt tightly and he wrapped his arms around you. "Hey, you're okay. It's okay," he whispered, soothingly.

"Guys, I wasn't going to," Grizz trailed off, watching your body shake with sobs. He tried to walk over but Clark shook his head, holding him back. "Please, let me go over there."

"I don't think she wants you around her right now." Luke was rubbing your back and continuing to whisper to you until your sobs were quieted and you felt safe.

You turned to see Grizz had sat on the floor, his head in his hands. You walked toward him and Clark gave you a warning look. "It's okay," you said, kneeling down in front if him. "Grizz."

He looked up and immediately pulled you against him. "I wasn't going to hit you, I would never ever hurt you," he said quickly and you nodded.

"I know," you said, pulling away from him. "But you already hurt me. You really think I've been cheating on you with Harry? You don't trust me?"

Grizz shrugged and avoided your gaze. "You seem to always hang out with him," he said. "I should've talked about this with you before."

You frowned and nodded. "You have to communicate with me or this is never going to work," you said gently, and he nodded. "So if it makes you feel better, you can hang out with Harry and I from now on so you know nothing is happening, okay? I just want you to trust me."

He nodded and pulled you in for another hug. "I wasn't going to hit you."

"I know," you said, rubbing his back.
