CHAPTER 13

VIAH's POV

I'm busy rummaging through some scattered documents on my desk when I heard my room's door made a clattering sound.

It's Vico.

"What the hell are you thinking Viah??!" he asked furiously.

Tinaasan ko lang siya ng kilay.

He took a deep breath, refraining himself.

"Saang lupalop ka ba nagpunta kahapon at ngayon ka lang umuwi dito sa bahay?? You just left from the office yesterday without saying anything! After squabbling with one of our investor?! Why---Where did that smart brain of yours go, Viah?!"

Ayoko sana siyang sagutin but he might get really furious. Mom might be worried again.

"Umuwi ako kahapon Vico. I stayed at my condo." I answered while arranging the papers on my desk.

"And you didn't even call??" he asked in disbelief.

"There's no signal in that place." I simply answered.

"What?? Then where the hell was that---" I cut him off.

"Stop asking questions and just get out of my room." I said then looked at him with my dead serious look. Pero hindi pa rin siya nagpatalo.

"Ano bang nangyayari sayo---"

"Damn Vico. Can't you stop asking me that fckn' question?? I heard it a thousand times! What's your problem with me?? I'm doing my job! Even if I left several times during meeting, or had an argument with those bullshit clients or investors in the company, I'm always taking the consequences and responsibilities by working my ass off, ten times harder than those bullshits!"

Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko at napatayo na din ako.

Hindi kaagad siya nakapagsalita.

"You... don't understand Viah. Look. I just wanna make sure that you're fine. I know that you made a big part in the company. That's why even they want you out, they still can't right?? I know how good you are Viah. But I don't really care about your work in the company. I'm just worried for you... As your brother. So don't hesitate telling me if you have any problems or concerns. I am here. And Mom of course. Don't do everything on your own. We're a family Viah. You can trust us." Vico said.

I didn't respond.

After exchanging glances for a while, he turned his back and got out of my room.

"All of you took off your trust on me when I needed it the most." I whispered while staring blankly at the doorway where he left.

TOBI's POV

I'll go to your house Tobi.

Pagkagaling na pagkagaling ko sa bathroom ay yan agad ang nabasa kong text ni babaitang Viah.

I tossed my phone on the bed then pinunas ko muna ng aking pink towel ang hair ko. I smell like a flower na and I love it. Hahahaha

Pero kung kelan balak ko mag-beauty rest saka naman manggugulo 'tong si Viah girl. Hayyynako.

Pero okay lang din. Miss ko din naman na ang babaeng yun.

We haven't seen each other after Dad's discharge in the hospital.

I took my phone and was about to type a reply when I suddenly heard the doorbell.

Wow naman. The Flash ka gurl??
