You never know what's around the corner, like live wet electrical wires!
Life. Beware!
Gratitude
Misting turned to showers
Showers and lightning
Showers turned to downpour
Bang! Thunder! Frightening
Thunder wasn't all
Our adoptee was upset
Went to explore
Getting soaking wet
Huge tree limb
Laying on the ground
Took down the power lines
Wires cut were found
Utilities company called
Those wires were all live!
Cut electric to our home
To a hotel we arrive
Husbands away with work
That's nothing new
Electric needs repaired
Then begin to stew
Until I'm reminded
By our pups attitude
Life's an adventure
We're safe! Gratitude...
