Happy Mother's Day! Enjoy the day, your own way. A few special moments are game changers.

Here comes another of my made up words. You'll find submergive several stanzas down. I don't understand why it's not a word? When you submerge (verb) something, being able to add the suffix -ive (adjective) just makes sense. Besides, I love the alliteration going on here...

The oneness of digits
Neatly lined in a row
Tired hands remove shoes
Snug fitting socks follow

Escaping their confines
Naked toes are the best
When freely they wiggle
Atop living room footrest

Submergive subversives
Into the tub they dive
Splashing water frenzy
Ginger Float bubbles revive

Dried off toes lead the way
To a cozy waiting bed
Where they sink below sheet
And book waits to be read
