Week 180 - What If

I started with a grandiose plan! To make this a long rambling poem. Maybe it still holds a future as such, but I liked it as is. Short and sweet. Contemplating what life would look like without some of my favorite things.

What If

What if every cake turned hard and stale

There were millions of sand shovels-

Yet not one pail...

Water polluted couldn't be used,

The sky never shone-

Dark and abused...

All smiling faces just faded away

The visible spectrum died

Leaving only gray...
