PAT'S POV

Nagising ako sa alarm ko and I tried to carefully move Agnes's arm so that I don't wake her up. Pero as I'm moving, I felt her tighten her hug.

"Love, can we stay in bed a bit longer please?"sabi niya. I looked at her. She still had her eyes closed and she sounded very sleepy.

"Love, malelate ako."sabi ko sa kanya.

"I know. But just a few more minutes please. You're always so busy. Pwede bang few minutes lang for Agnes?"

Late na rin kasi siya natulog kagabi. She waited for me all night dahil late na ako natapos sa office. She wanted to pick me up pero hindi na ako pumayag since dala ko rin naman yung kotse ko. Work is too toxic for me lately and I have been very busy for the past months. Sa totoo lang, I keep overlooking my schedules and I have no idea kung anong araw na. I've also forgotten our monthsaries. Over the last 4 months, hindi ko lahat naalala yung monthsary namin ni Agnes. I would just be suprised na inaaya niya ako for dinner and that I'd be getting small surprises.

Kaya I'm very thankful of how Agnes is very understanding. I've never heard her complain and she would always make me feel as if everything is okay. Though there are times when I would feel guilty about it, pero wala pa rin akong magawa. Agnes is rarely clingy. Ako talaga yung mas clingy sa 'min so when Agnes is starting to get clingy, I try my best to give in to her requests.

"Okay love."sabi ko sa kanya as I played with her hair. Nagulat ako when she opened her eyes and looked at mine.

"I love you Patricia Lasaten." I smiled. Hindi ko alam kung bakit but nakaramdam ako ng kilig nung sinabi niya yun. I blushed.

And before I could even reply, she just pressed her lips to mine. She gave me a very swift kiss then she pulled me in closer for a more passionate one. I responded to her kiss, but soon after we had to break it off kasi may tumatawag sa 'kin. I heard Agnes groan as I left the bed and attended to the call dun sa balcony since reception is better there.

Babalik pa sana ako sa kwarto when I heard that Agnes was already preparing breakfast.

"I thought you wanted to stay in bed?"sabi ko sa kanya.

"Wala ka naman na eh."sabi niya. I hugged her from the back.

"Sorry love. Babawi ako sa'yo soon. Promise."

"I told you not to make promises."sabi niya. I sighed. Pinatong ko yung chin ko sa balikat niya.

"Wag ka na magtampo love please."sabi ko sa kanya. I kissed her on her cheeks. She took a deep breath. Tapos humarap siya sa 'kin.

"Next time na may tumawag ulit at sumira ng moment natin, I swear ihahagis ko na yang phone mo."sabi niya. I nodded.

"Hindi na talaga."sabi niya. She hugged me and kissed me on the forehead.

"Let's have breakfast na. Busy ka nanaman today, di ka nanaman kakain nang maayos."sabi niya. Umupo na kami at nag-almusal.

Sometimes iniisip ko na magresign na lang at maging full time na musician na lang. But I also enjoy my work and I know Agnes will not agree to me leaving the company. Kasi nung intern palang siya, nakwento ko na sa kanya how much I love film scoring and being a film composer. Siya ang nagsabi sa 'kin na sometimes we don't need to choose between two things that we love. If we can have both, then do it. Hindi naman kailangan laging mamili.

"I love you Agnes." I blurted out. I saw her face light up and she was now smiling.

"I love you."sabi niya. She rarely tells me that, but she never fails to show it.

After namin kumain, nagvolunteer si Agnes to take me to work. I would often disagree pero today I just wanted to give more time for us too. Pagsakay namin, she put on our playlist tapos nagdrive na siya. I reached out for her hand and gave the back of her hand a kiss.

I swear, once all of this is over. Ako naman. Ako naman ang babawi sa'yo love.
