PAT'S POV

I sat there in silence and when I finally got tired, bumaba na ako ng sasakyan and made my way to the unit. Pagpasok ko, Coelli was there waiting for me.

"Pat, kanina pa ako nag-aantay sa'yo saan ka galing? Gabi na ah. Umaga na nga. You've been gone for what? 2 days? Kagabi pa ako hindi nakakatulog dahil hindi ko alam kung nasan ka tapos itong maghapon di ka rin nagparamdam kung anong nangyari sayo." She was not shouting but I felt every word she let out. Feeling ko this is even worse than shouting, the calm statement coming from her is hurting me.

"Bakit ka umiiyak? Bakit namumugto yung mata mo?"

I didn't try to catch her gaze. Hindi ko rin alam paano ko ipapaliwanag sa kanya yung lahat. I don't know how to call this off. And I guess I'm too tired already to speak and explain.

"Pat, what's happening? Anong nangyari?" Coelli went closer and held my hand. I pulled it back. Hindi ko na alam kung ano pang sasabihin ko. I'm tired. I'm just exhausted from all of this. All I know now, is I want Agnes. All this madness has to end. Coelli looked at me in defeat.

"This is still about Agnes. This is still about you loving her."sabi niya. I froze. Hindi ko alam kung handa na ba akong sumagot sa mga sinasabi niya. I am not sure if I am ready for this conversation.

"Alam ko naman na mahal mo pa rin si Agnes. Pero nahihirapan ka na ba? Nahihirapan ka na ba sa 'tin?"

And then I felt it. Like a wave crashing on to me. The pain. I just stood there and I broke into tears. This is just too much already.
